Harrysong is set to release debut album ‘TESTIFY’ April 1, 2011

Posted: 06 Mar 2011 04:19 PM PST

Questionmark Entertainment is set to release Harrysong's debut studio album titled TESTIFY on 1, April 2011.  The album features Harrysong writing and co-producing with respected producer Ayodele 'Delby' Basil.

Harrysong signed to Questionmark Entertainment, who has already recorded 30 very personal songs for the album, showcases his stunning voice, prolific songwriting ability and incredible versatility on this new album.

A series of event is planned to mark the release of his album which would be preceded by a tour across Nigeria. The album would be released on the first of April in Lagos at Club Luxe (Formerly Nu Grotto), Etim Inyang crescent, Lagos then a launch would take place at his birthplace in Warri.

Before, a listening party would take place at TRIBECA on the 23rd of March 2011.

Born Harrison Tare Okiri, Harrysong spent the last year 2010 recording his album in addition to serving as vocal coach to several acts including actress cum singer Omotola Jalade and ended the year with a mini tour across Southern Nigeria where he performed at several gigs; the Calabar Carnival after he composed and performed the theme song for the Nigeria Music Video Awards with fellow label mate d'Supremes and Justina.

Earlier in the year, his video for the hit single, 'I'm in love' topped charts from terrestrial TV, Silverbird TV to French cable network – Trace TV.

A surprise collaboration with another A-list and multiple award winning singer would also feature on the album – it would be unveiled on the day of the release –April 2011.

'TESTIFY' would have music for every age bracket, mood and as the title suggest with enough excitement and inspiration.

Fans would also see the varying and still distinct sounds of the artiste, who many have compared to legendary singer Tuface.

In related news, Harrysong would also be talking to the participants in the amnesty programme running at Questionmark Entertainment. Questionmark Entertainment – in addition – to gearing up to release Harrysong's long awaited album has been busy with the training of ex militants from the restive Niger Delta area who are part taking in the Federal Government Amnesty programme.

The amnesty programme would be running for months for the ex-militants who dropped their arms and violent past to ground theirselves with enough training or guidance to pursue music career either as a producer or recording artiste.
