| Let’s face it—life can be hectic and unpredictable, and sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. This past April was one of those times. It was the month of final exams, job interviews, graduation…and oh yeah, my birthday. Can you blame my poor roommate for putting off finding a present? Realizing she’d never make it to the mall in time, she logged online and headed for a popular deals site. Within minutes she found the perfect gift for me: a blanket she customized with a photo of my dog. I was ecstatic to receive it, she saved tons of valuable time by using the web, and my dog felt very smug about her larger-than-life portrait flung over the sofa.
