Will and Jada Pinkett Smith Plan For 15-Year Wedding Anniversary

    Hollywood super-couple Will and his wife jada pinkett smith will celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary with a simple high five, it has been revealed.
  The couple who got married in a secret New Year's Eve ceremony in 1997. Come December will celebrate 15 years.
 "Fifteen years! It's amazing, isn't it?" Pinkett Smith told People.com
  "I was just doing theToday show, and there was a couple there who was celebrating 59 years of marriage, and I thought to myself, '15 years ain't nothing, you know?' It's just the beginning. That's the way I look at it." 
   She revealed how they will celebrate  "You know, we celebrate throughout the year," . "But usually on our wedding anniversary, we give ourselves a high-five and go, 'We survived another year, homie! Yeah!' " 
  She concluded by calling  recent divorce rumours "ridiculous".The Couple has two children Jaden smith, 13 and willow smith ,11 together.

Celebrities Walk Against Rape June 28

     The second edition of the much awaited Celebrities Walk Against Rape has once more gotten a  nod from the Lagos State Ministry Of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the maiden edition of the campaign was held in April 2010 with over 1000 participants.
    Various celebrities such as  Kate Henshaw-Nuttal, Jimmy Jatt, Ali Baba, Owen Gee, Gt the Guiterman, Gbemi Olateru Olabegi (OAP)Isio Wanogho (Model), Bolaji Rosiji, Ego Obaro, Praise Fowowe,Jerrilyn Mulbah, Jodie,Bhaira (AMBO 3), Toni Payne,  amongst other top celebrities have also endorsed the walk and showed great interest to participate in the walk and the one day sensitising workshop respectively
   (Celebrities) Walk Against Rape Campaign is a special demonstration that brings together  Nigerian Actors, Actresses, Sport Men, Media Practitioners, Musicians, DJs, Comedians, Youth Organisations, Showbiz Personalities and student delegates from various higher institutions and Secondary Schools around Lagos state to  lend a voice to sexually abused women and children, particularly young girls between the ages of 3-16years and also  showing their support to the course of bringing an abrupt end to RAPE in Nigeria where the number of rape cases is on the increase.
     The theme for this year's walk and workshop is tagged: "BREAK THE SILENCE, SPEAK UP, WALK AGAINST RAPE"
     The sensitising workshop will be held at the International school Unilag, Akoka on tuesday the 19th of June by 9am, while the walk is slated for thursday the 28th of June, the walk starts by 8am on , at the Police College, Ikeja (the point of convergence) and end at the Ministry Of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Secretariat, Alausa – Ikeja (point of departure) where we will be received by the Ministry of women affairs

         Nigeria's biggest and most respected music awards, The Headies is back for the seventh year! 
    Organizers of Hip Hop World Awards which debuted in 2006 this week announced "A countdown to the big day"- which officially kicks off THE HEADIES.
"On July 23, we will have a mini event to give out the car and plaques to last year's winners, and then the following day, we will officially launch the countdown to the big day by announcing nominees, hosts, sponsors and other plans" Ayo Animashaun says.
     A total of 23 Plaques will be given to last year's winners- 2face, Don Jazzy, Darey,  Ice Prince, MI, Waje, DJ Tee, Modenine, Cabo Snoop, eLDee, Femi, Dr. Sid, Jah Bless and WizKid with Wizkid leaving with the biggest prize- a brand new Hyundai Sonata 2011.
    Though yet to make the date of The Headies public, Hip Hop World Awards is already dangling a new theme "step into the spotlight" before rising and established Nigerian acts whose materials – released between March 2011 and February 2012 – pass the test.
