Breaking News;Nigeria's Chiddy of Chiddy bang enters Guiness world records for longest rap freestyle

Celebregion.com broke the news of Nigeria's chiddy of chiddybang trying to enter Guiness world records for longest freestyle rap.


Well as you can see in the picture above and posted earlier ,he did it in Las vegas at the 2011 MTV O music awards.He beats the current world record of longest rap freestyle of  9hours ,16 mins .Chiddy freestyled for  over 9 hours ,16 mins.


His Name is now in the Guiness world records for longest freestyle rapper .

Tony oneweek mounagor wins house of assembly election

Tony one week ,the popular musician from Anambra state has won the state's house of assembly election conducted on 26th of April 2011.

      Tony of Action congress of Nigeria  representing Idemiili North constituency got 10,801 votes  and was announced the winner in Ogidi.

He is reportedly the first to win an election in Nigerian entertainment industry. Tony oneweek  is popular for his Gyration songs

He has to rap for 9hrs ,15 mins to beat the current world record.

Femi Kuti lauded as best World Music artist

 Nigeria's Afrobeat singer Femi Kuti was named Best Artist in Songlines magazine's annual world music awards, winning praise for dynamic songs that railed against corruption and repression in Africa.


Kuti had stepped out of the shadow of his father, the legendary Fela Kuti, with his album "Africa for Africa," Songlines said.
"Songs like "Politics in Africa," "Can't Buy Me" and "Bad Government" all serve to underline his utter disdain for the corrupt politicians of his native Nigeria and other African nations -- a theme that continues to be pertinent today with events happening across North Africa and Ivory Coast," it said.
The nominees are selected Songlines readers, with the final decision made by the magazine's editors.
songlines publisher Simon Broughton Speaks of Femi Kuti, : "This album is very angry and it really sounds like Lagos -- quite rough at the edges. And the message is Africa has to look after itself."

 Nollywood star actress,Ini edo has been working on a new movie " i will take my chances "for a while now , and the movie would be released later this year .See the sypnosis and details below

Sypnosis


"I'll take my chances" is a tale of love, passion and dance.  Osa Ogiamen is a young Theatre Arts graduate that majored in dance in America and is passionate about it. He hopes to stage a drama called "Drumbeats" and scouts all over for sponsorship together with his Peruvian girlfriend Gisele and they are both hopeful to find it.

     He however has to go for his Youth Service Orientation in the rustic village of Ikot Uyai in Cross River State and there meets the enigmatic and beautiful Idara.  Despite their obvious differences the two are drawn together but Idara harbours a dark secret.  She has been selected to be the next High Priestess of Unek, a deity that is worshipped by her people through dance. 


  Torn between her love for Osa and her duty to obey the call of the deity, Idara must choose and face the greatest battle of all.  Osa finally receives the much awaited funding from Giselle's father to stage his production which must be entered in a dance festival taking place in Lagos.  The winner of the festival gets a grant of $100,000.00. 


    In Idara, Osa sees the perfect partner for his drama and decides to substitute Gisele, his previous partner with her, making her (Gisele) a bitter enemy.  In preparation for the production, Idara leaves the village for the big city and starts dance preparation however the calls from the deity and incessant dreams she has of herself dancing and fulfilling her priestly role, haunts her. 

   This combined with the cries and wails from her family about the imminent disaster and certain death that is sure to befall her should she shirk her duty, succeeds in making her decide to abandon the city, for home. Idara is in a dilemma. Should she attend to the call of duty as the next Priestess of Unek or should she stay and remain where her love resides.
