Nneka to Perform on BET 106&Park Wednesday

    Nigerian -german soul singer Nneka will perform on BET popular tv show , 106&Park wednesday March 6,2012.
     Nneka who recently had an exclusive photoshoot and interview with MTV Iggy will perform God Knows why,a single off her new album soul is heavy .

Soul is heavy was released in the Uk last weekend.

Actress Shola Shobowale Loses Father

   Veteran nollywood star actress ,Shola shobowale is not happy at the moment as she  lost her father ,pa olagookun  earlier today(Monday)  .Pa olagookun died in UCH ibadan after a brief illness and shola is currently at the hospital. 
    The mother of three who hails from Ifon ,ondo state has acted in many yoruba and english movies  .She relocated to London few years ago  . 
 The Funeral arrangements for pa olagookun will be announced later.

Don Jazzy and D'banj Split Reports Not Confirmed

     A  report  was published today by an online media that Mo'hits Records president and producer  Don jazzy has parted ways with his first artist and Vice ,D'banj. .
  The report which spread like wildfire also claimed D'banj has started his own record label  under which he is going to release his forthcoming album.
    Well, celebregion can tell you that the report is not confirmed .We made a few findings from close people to Mo'hits  .
   A reliable source very close to Don jazzy said 
   "I heard the news just as u may have heard it but I have not clarified it with the gentlemen concerned as am told they are in America tidying up their business"

The Source continued "I am not in a position presently to throw more light on this subject but can tell you that these men are well knowledgeable about their business and the relevance of any action they choose to take for the positive growth of their brand. There is no cause for alarm" . " This is showbiz and all I can say is that I wish for the best for them as they grow bigger and bigger", He concluded.

   We went further to ask few people close to Mo'hits ,another source said"D'banj and Don jazzy usually quarel and you know if two people are doing big businesses like that ,there would always be some misunderstandings which is a normal thing ".

Another source finally refuted the report ,he said" All Mohits stars performed two weeks ago in new york and D banj is currently working on his album that will soon be released under Mo'hits ,so d banj cannot form his own record label all of a sudden , the report is not true .

We gathered a press statement may be released  soon to clarify things.

Akon Sued By His Lawyers For $39,000 Over Unpaid Legal Fees

    Senegalese-American Music star Akon is facing lawsuit again . He is being sued this time by lawyers he hired last year  .
    According to the lawsuit  filed in Georgia,Akon hired a bunch of lawyers last year at a firm called Yoss, then refused to pay them $39, 363.74 for legal services which involved civil/business matters. Now, they've responded by suing him for breach of contracts .
  Akon filed his own response in the suit and is asking  a judge to dismiss the case.He was recently sued  by a construction company .

Hackers Steal All Micheal Jackson's Unreleased Tracks From Sony

   Michael Jackson's entire back catalogue, including previously unreleased material from his sessions has apparently been stolen by computer hackers. 
   Sony Music paid the late singer's estate over $250 million (£158 million) for the back catalogue in 2010 and released the first swathe of tracks from it at the end of that year with the posthumous album 'Michael'.
   A source told sunday times: "Everything Sony purchased from the Michael Jackson estate was compromised. It caused them to check their systems and they found the breach. There was a degree of sophistication. Sony identified the weakness and plugged the gap."
   The source added that the second breach happening so soon after the first "would have made investors and artists think, 'What other part of Sony isn't secure?'"
    Last night Sony admitted there had been a security breach and that the Michael Jackson material had been stolen but refused to say how much the hackers downloaded.
   A source within the company said that although the Jackson estate had been told about the hack the company did not have to make the knowledge public as there was no customer data involved.
   They added that computer experts had traced the hack to the UK by examining a "fingerprint" allegedly left behind.
     The Sony Music site also hosts tracks by other artists including the Foo Fighters, Olly Murs and Avril Lavigne although it is still unclear whether they are affected.
