Wizkid Nominated For MTV Iggy's Artist Of the week

     Pop star wizkid has just been nominated for MTV iggy's artist of the week .He has been  nominated alongside  pony pony run run, sigh ,neon hitch, and bam bam.
   The poll will be closed Monday night(9/4/2012) at 11:59 p.m USA Eastern Standard Time .On Tuesday morning(10/4/2012). the band/artist with the most votes will be featured on the MTV Iggy homepage marquee along with a tell-all interview.

   D'banj and bez were nominated in the past but lost to other artists .

Music Icon Youssou N'dour Appointed Senegal's Culture Minister

    World music icon Youssou Ndour has been named the new senegals 's minister for culture and tourism.
    The announcement was made on wednesday by the new elected President Macky Sall,two days after his inauguration ceremony.Ndour had earlier organized a big concert for sall on monday night to celebrate the new era in senegal .
    Senegal's new president won a runoff election by a large margin, defeating  former leader Abdoulaye Wade.
   Earlier this year, the grammy award winning singer Ndour himself launched a failed bid for the presidency  but was disqualified and later threw his support behind Sall.

Nollywood Actor Prince Eke Bags N23M Hollywood Movie Deal

     Nollywood star actor Prince Eke has just bagged a mouth-watering deal that is worth N23 M .He signed the deal with sacinda Arclight picture, a hollywood film production company .
     The deal signed few days ago will see the actor take part in two new hollywood movies .
 Prince exclusively tells celebregion  " a movie company in hollywood contacted me last month about a one year contract with them,and I will shoot 2 movies for them,the movie will be shot in south africa and hollywood and its worth 150,000usd!  ".
    The  production of the movies will start in a few months time  .
 Prince recently got married to singer Muma gee in port harcourt, Rivers state.  

Dr Sid Debuts At No.4 on Billboard Next Big sound 25

    The  recent Mo'hit split is not affecting the growth of  Pop star and Mo'Hits Records artist Dr Sid  as he just made his debut on Billboard Next Big sound 25 .Dr sid appeared at No 4 for the Week of April 6- April 14 ,2012.

  
   The Billboard Next Big Sound 25  chart is for fastest accelerating artists throughout the world during the past week ,statistically predicted to achieve future success as measured by Next Big sound.
   Naeto c,D'banj ,M.I  ,jesse jagz  appeared on the billboard chart in the past.
