Wondering How To Astral Project Successfully?

If you ask me 'How to astral project' or 'what exactly is astral projection' in the first place, the answer would be the ability of a person to separate his astral self or inner self from his physical body and projecting the former to the higher realms of consciousness.

The question on 'how to astral project' can never be answered without first discussing the importance of meditation. If you want to attempt an astral travel, make it a point to meditate regularly. Meditation results in developing your ability to focus on things and direct all your attention and energy on the same. Your self awareness and awareness about the power of your sub conscious mind develops, which is extremely important for astral projection.

The first suggestion on how to astral project is that of attempting to attain a state of deep trance. Deep trance is when you become unresponsive to the external world and your mind is at its wakeful and focused best. With experience of meditation, you need to channelize all your energy on a vision of you traveling out from your own body. You can visualize yourself floating out, climbing out or even being pulled out, but whatever the vision is, you need to concentrate on it with everything you have.

The second suggestion on how to astral project is the body of light technique. Thus, while you are in a deep trance, visualize a body of light in front of you. It can be in a human form or any form whatsoever so long as you can visualize it strongly. When you can see it clearly in front of you, attempt to step out from your body and enter the body of light becoming one with it. Remember not to put in too much force so as to wake up completely from your trance.

Constant mental affirmation is a good solution to almost all the hindrances regarding how to astral project. Whenever you see things going out of control, or feel yourself to be loosing grip, coming out of the trance or getting distressed over not being able to project yourself, constant mental affirmations and saying out a sentence to yourself comes to the rescue. Statements like 'I can do it', 'I can fly' 'I am going to the body of light' are some examples.

Another point to be noted in case of Astral Projection is that if you by chance continuously go on assessing yourself and your performance, then all your attempts will surely fail. Thus, thinking about how you are doing it or whether it is working or not can be the primary cause of failure. Have true belief in yourself that you can do it and concentrate and focus your mind on the journey and not the assessment of the same.

The fifth suggestion on how to astral travel comes to use when one actually experiences the out of body journey. Remember that you will continuously face a pull from your physical body till a certain distance after which your spirit will enjoy absolute free movement. If you feel even the slightest amount of fear, apprehensions or anxiety regarding how you are going to return to your body, your physical body will immediately suck you back. Hence, astral travel with complete faith in yourself and an absolute open and positive mind.

Lastly it may be said that making meditation a part of life and a true belief in yourself results in a successful astral projection, something that is an experience of a life time that only a handful of few rare and gifted people in this world have the chance to come across. It is a life changing event which will forever change the way you look at life and relationships for the better.
