The outcome of the transplant was successful . He wrote on his facebook page ;PRAISE THE LORD FOR ME, I JUST HAD A SUCCESSFUL KIDNEY TRANSPLANT AT FORTIS HOSPITAL IN NOIDA , INDIA See his picture after the transplant below

| Governor chime of Enugu state promises state burial for late sam loco Posted: 11 Aug 2011 05:27 AM PDT  Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, yesterday, pledged to give the late veteran actor, Sam Loco Efe, a state burial. Gov, Chime described his death as a great loss to the entertainment industry, Enugu State and Nigeria.In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Afam Okereke, Gov. Chime lamented the death of the actor, who he said contributed much to the transformation and stability of the Nollywood industry. Chime said Sam Efe's involvement and participation at the Enugu State chapter of Actor Guild of Nigeria where he has been since he relocated from Lagos has been inspiring. He declared his interest and readiness to accord him a state burial and immortalise him in the coal city so that generations yet unborn may know that such great talent lived in Enugu State.Sam loco died in owerri ,imo state last sunday while shooting a new movie  | ||
| HTC Buys 51% Stake in Dr. Dre’s beats electronics for $300 million Posted: 11 Aug 2011 05:12 AM PDT  .The Taiwanese company will acquire 51 percent of Beats Electronics LLC, HTC Chief Financial Officer Winston Yung said today. U.S.-based Beats Electronics, formed in 2006 by Dr. Dre, also known as Andre Young, and Universal Music's Interscope Records Chairman Jimmy Iovine, makes headphones that sell for as much as $600. The purchase paves the way for the Taiwanese smartphone maker to expand its offering of accessories as competition in the smartphone market escalates. HTC last month agreed to buy S3 Graphics Co. for $300 million to access its trove of patents as it defends against infringement lawsuits from Apple Inc. (AAPL) As part of the strategic patnership and investment, HTC plans to incorporate Beats technology into their phones by the end of the year. The list of performers wanted includes Jay-Z, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber and Usher. A statement on the website for the organisers, Global Live Events, read: organisers of the Michael Forever Tribute Concert are very mindful of the expectations of the fans, who have waited over two years for an event that will do justice to Michael's musical legacy.
