Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are married ,wedding photos sold for $1.5 Million

     Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian got married to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries saturday night in front of a veritable who's who of Hollywood.
    
     The 440 guests at the Montecito, Calif., black-tie affair, held on a private estate, included Demi Lovato,Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria, Sugar Ray Leonard, Alan Thicke and Lindsay Lohan. Exclusive photos of Kim Kardashian's wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries were sold to Peoplemagazine for $1.5 million, according to hollywoodreporters. The weekly shelled out $300,000 to the couple for their engagement announcement in May, and bested several other publications in a bidding war for the ceremony pics.

Britain's OK! magazine paid $100,000 for exclusive bridal shower coverage.

The World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples

  Forbes has released the list of  the World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples between May 2010 and May 2011.

   Coming first on forbes' ranking is the powerful duo formed by supermodel Gisele Bundchen and NFL superstar Tom Brady with a combined $76 million. Music's most powerful couple, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z hauled in some $72 million over the past year, making them No. 2 on the list. Hollywood royalty Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came in third place on the list, with a combined $50 million annual income.

    David Beckham, along with his former Spice Girl wife Victoria, are the world's fourth Highest-Paid Celebrity couple, with combined earnings of $45 million .Coming last, but not least, is Twilight's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who have both earned $20 million

Retweet ,sexting ,cyberbullying ,jeggings added to Oxford Dictionary

    The online expression of enthusiasm is now in the dictionary. So are textspeak, sexting — and, less happily, cyberbullying.
    They are among 400 new entries in the 12th edition of the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, published this month as disclosed by Editor angus stevenson
   Another newcomer to the reference book's 24,000 entries is retweet — to repost another Twitter user's message.
     Some of the new words describe forms of behavior and communication created by technology. There's cyberbullying, a form of online abuse, and textspeak, the abbreviated language used in cell phone messages. And, of course, sexting — sending explicit photos or messages by mobile phone.
   Less high-tech new entries include jeggings — a jeans-leggings hybrid popular with some and considered a fashion crime by others — and mankini, a sling-style bathing suit made infamous by comic character Borat.
  Stevenson said the latest edition also added new meanings for existing words like friend and follower to reflect their new online uses. A friend is no longer just an intimate acquaintance, but also "a contact on a social networking website."
   Unlike the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary, the concise edition was founded to include modern and slang terms as they enter common use. Its first edition in 1911 featured the then-new words aeroplane, motorist and flapper.

   Akaybee (born Akogwu Barack Obekpa) is a Benue native Currently signed under the MiloungeMusic management team. 
     The 22 year old is looking to make his mark in the Nigerian music industry by 'creating songs with great melodies'  which he does with the very catchy single Kocho featured here.
 Listing artists like 2face Idibia and Banky W as his influences.He is currently working on his debut album titled Boombox.

        Honourbale member of The federal House of representative , Abike Dabiri has attacked Nollywood movies during the Opening of  this year's film making workshop organized by Del-York International in partnership with New york film academy.

   Most of the movies churned out of the industry lacked technical depths, especially when the films are compared to other films produced in the developed countries.The capacity, the technical quality is what we are talking about. All of us here know that we have problem with the quality of our films."

Darey art alade and Bob Manuel Udowku to host Gulder ultimate search season 8

     R&B crooner Darey has been chosen to join the almost perennial anchor man Bob Manuel-Udokwu in the jungle as co-anchor of the popular TV reality show,Gulder Ultimate search season 8
      The choice of two hosts for GUS 8, as against having one anchor person, is part of the new concept of GUS. 
   The winner of the GUS 8 which has been themed 'Contest of Champions', according to organizers, will smile home with the sum of N7 million, a brand new jeep worth N10 million as well as N500,000 wardrobe allowance; while the first runner up will go home with N2.5 million.This year's edition, which will be staged at the Egbetua Quarters, Ososo Mountains in Akoko Edo, Edo State, will be the eighth in the series.
