Most people would choose to have dogs for a pet because dogs are happy animals. The forever wagging tail and the grinning face are signs of a dog's happy personality. The inclination of dogs to provide the family with affection and happiness cannot be surpassed by any other pets. We, dog lovers would know that these bundles of fur are the most ideal pets but we are also aware of their shortcomings.

Puppies that have just been taken from the breeder would usually cry at night. Excited about the new pet, the family members will take turns to play with the new puppy. But at night when the company has gone to sleep, the pup will start to feel lonely. The puppy will now realize that the surrounding is unfamiliar and that the mother and the litter mates are nowhere to be found. Alone, the puppy that is frightened of the unfamiliar dark place will cry and cry in an effort to get the master to come.

Dog owners have to provide the pet with opportunities to interact with people and with other dogs as they are social animals. In spite of being energetic animals, dogs love to sleep too and if given a chance, the pet will sleep the day away.

Because the family is now around, the dog that has been sleeping all day is now ready to play. Dogs will not understand why humans need to sleep at night. A dog that has no one to play with will cry.
