Miss France Laments- We were all surprised by Miss Angola's Victory

      Angola's representative at the recently held Miss universe in Brazil  ,Leila Lopes won.She beat other 88 competitors from around the world but Miss france Laury Thilleman wasn't satisfied with Leila lopes's victory .

She lamented in an interview with french news website premiere.fr

   "It's the only girl that I did not too well known. We did not see her much, she was very discreet. She was often in jeans and no makeup. We were all surprised by his victory. Many girls have made ​​efforts that have not been rewarded. I do not know, there's something missing in his temperament. The fact that the contest will be held in Brazil has certainly played (Angola is a former Portuguese colony ed) ".

Micheal Jackson's mother and kids get $30 million from Estate

        Michael Jackson's estate has generated more than $310 million in the two years since the pop singer died deeply in debt, enabling executors to distribute a preliminary payment of $30 million to Jackson's mother and children, and to unnamed charities, according to recently filed court documents.
     They indicated that the $30 million was a preliminary distribution to the trust and more would be forthcoming in the future.
   Jackson's death remains in the news as his doctor, Conrad Murray, is set to go on trial on involuntary manslaughter charges. He is accused of negligently administering the anesthetic propofol.

Nigerian rapper "MC Loph" dies in a car accident

     Nigerian rapper MC Loph popularly known for his hit song Osondi owendi is  dead. According to popular comedian Yaw , he was driving this afternoon on Benin/ore road and had an accident which claimed his life.His other colleagues have confirmed the death
    So sad Nigerian entertainment industry has lost another talent   .He will be remembered for his unique igbo rap and hit song osondi owendi

Amy Winehouse charity launches on her 28th birthday,duet with tony bennett released

    Amy Winehouse's family has launched a youth charity in her name to mark what would have been the singer's 28th birthday.
     Winehouse, who had long fought drug and alcohol problems, was found dead at her London home on July 23. Her family says toxicology reports indicated there was alcohol in her bloodstream but it was unclear whether this had contributed to her death.
    The soul diva's father, Mitch Winehouse, says the Amy Winehouse Foundation will support organizations that help young people who are vulnerable, including those with addictions.
Her mother Janis said: "It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy would be proud of this."
    The charity will derive much of its first income from the release of Winehouse's duet with Tony Bennett, "Body And Soul.

    Tyler makes most of his money from tv shows(meet the browns and eyes of payne). He is followed by Jerry Bruckheimer with $113 million whose Pirates of the carribean 4 franchise grossed $1 billion and Legendary director Steven spielberg ($107 million).The earnings from May 2010 to May 2011 were calculated .See TopTen list below

Lady Gaga, Usher, U2 to perform at Bill clinton's 65th birthday and foundation'10th anniversary

        Lady Gaga, Usher, U2'sThe Edge and Bono will be among the performers at a Los Angeles concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of former President Bill Clinton's foundation.
    The musicians will perform at "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation" on Oct. 15 at the Hollywood Bowl. Other performers will be announced later.
    Clinton said in a statement Tuesday that he is "proud that some of today's most influential performers are coming together to raise awareness about the work of my foundation."
For the past decade, Clinton's foundation has sought to improve global health, strengthen economies worldwide, promote healthier childhoods and protect the environment.
The concert will be streamed live on Yahoo.com.
