Rusell Brand Files For Divorce From Singer Katy Perry

     The actor,comedian Russell Brand has filed for divorce from singer/ songwriter Katy Perry.The couple got married on october 23,2010 in india and people have been speculating that they may be divorced soon.   
     According to TMZ  Russell  filed court documents in Los Angeles today citing 'irreconcilable differences,' and has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
    Katy has not been wearing her wedding ring for a while and also Rusell . They have no kids together.

Fast Five Revealed as the Most Pirated Film of 2011

         Action movie Fast Five  starring paul walker and Vin diesel was the most pirated film of 2011, according to file-sharing blog, Torrent Freak.The fifth instalment in the Fast and the Furious film series was downloaded 9.2 million times, figures have shown.
   The Hangover II was the second most 'pirated' film of 2011, with 8.8 million illegal downloads, while Thor was third with 8.3 million. Source Code was fourth, I Am Number Four fifth and Sucker Punch at Number Six, with127 Hours, Rango, The King's Speech and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2making up the rest of the Top 10.

Reggae star ,Gyptian To Wrap Up Calabar Festival Tonight

       Jamaican reggae star , Windel Beneto Edwards popularly known as Gyptian will be the last international star to perform at the closing music event of the  annual calabar festival .
    The event which will hold tonight 30th December is tagged Naija's Most wanted and it will also feature Mo'hits all stars , Kcee and Comedian Jedi.
     Other international stars that have performed at this year's festival include sean Kingston, Rayvon and Yolanda adams.

Police Harass ,Undresses Singer Sunny Neji at Gun Point

   Popular Highlife singer and Mr fantastic crooner ,Suny Neji was recently humiliated by some members of Nigerian Poilice force .He was driving along tolla gate axis on lagos ibadan express way when officers stopped him . He told newsmen ;
Some policemen in uniform stopped me and started searching me as if I was a criminal.It happened around the toll gate axis on Lagos Ibadan express way by 7-UP area, between 10 and 11 of that faithful morning. The officer in-charge of the team was one Inspector Katsina…and they were driving a convoy Hilux truck.I was asked to stop and I did. And they started treating me as if I was already guilty of something. The inspector kept ranting about how they'll deal with me if they found anything incriminating in my car. They searched the whole car and made me remove my shoes and my jacket. I  wondered at their effrontery and what they were looking for.They even went as far as asking for my Special Marshal I.D card.  They just kept talking as if they were sure there was something in my car.
They turned my car inside out.I did not mind the searching but all the threats they were making as if they were so sure I was guilty even before finding any evidence made me uncomfortableI think the Police can do better than what they did to me.They had to leave me now since they did not find anything. I'm not a criminal, it was pure police harassment
  He has since disclosed that the officers have apologized when he went to their area command.He tweeted

     Basketball legend Michael Jordan is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Yvette Prieto, his spokeswoman said on Thursday.Jordan, 48, considered the greatest U.S. basketball player of all time, proposed to Cuban-American model Prieto, 32, over the Christmas holidays.
    The couple have been dating for about three years. It will be the second marriage for Jordan, who divorced his wife Juanita in 2006 after 17 years.
  Jordan spent almost 19 years with the National Basketball Association (NBA), retiring twice from the Chicago Bulls before finally quitting the game and the Washington Wizards in 2003.
