Russell Brand To make £20million For Divorcing Katy Perry Posted: 01 Jan 2012 01:17 PM PST Actor -comedian Russell Brand is set to make up to £20million from his divorce from Pop star wife Katy Perry. Rusell and Katy didn't sign a pre-nuptial agreement when they married in October so under Californian law, he could be entitled to half of her fortune.Rusell is in line for the huge lump sum in a 50/50 split of the couple's earnings after just 14 months of marriage. Katy perry raked in a lot of money by performing at many concerts across the globe last year which won her the coveted Best Live Act at the 2011 MTV EMA. Rusell announced on Friday that the couple's marriage was over after they spent Christmas apart . His lawyers filed divorce papers at Los Angeles Superior Court citing 'irreconcilable differences' between the pair who met at the MTV Music Awards in 2009. | ||

Robert Downey Jr.'s "Sherlock holmes : a game of shadows" from Warner Bros., finished second again with $22.1 million, raising its worldiwde total to $132.1 million.
