Jay-Z to Headline BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend,D'banj to Perform

   Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z  has been booked to  headline BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend event, a huge outdoor festival set to take place as part the of 2012 london Olympic Games.
    The event will take place on London's Hackney Marshes on June 23–24 and will hold up to 100,000 people. Jay-z will headline the event's opening day (June 23), with a second headliner set to be confirmed in the coming weeks. 
   The majority of the tickets for the event are being given free to residents of  Hackney and the surrounding London boroughs.
    Nigerian music star  D'banj is one of the acts billed to perform at the festival . Among other acts confirmed to perform are David guetta, dappy,jessie j,emeli sande ,tinie tempah and leona lewis.

Usher Plays With Wild-animals In South Africa

    American R&B superstar Usher is currently on a three-date tour of three cities - Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town .Usher visited a wildlife park to play with animals 
    Usher tweeted with the above photo :"This is my lil homie...he would not let me go! URIV"

Rochas Okorocha Drags Celebrities to Imo State for Foundation Movie Premiere

    Gov.Rochas Okorocha ,the executive Governor of Imo state will premiere the movie titled 'eyes on hope' for Rochas Okorochas Foundation today March 10,2012. 
    The movie which is directed by award winning director,Tchidi Chikere is starring nollywood stars like Olu Jacobs,Ngozi Ezeonu,Kate Henshaw and many others.
 The event takes place at heroes square,owerri,imo state, red carpet by 4pm and main event by 7pm  .
    Stars expected to attend include sound sultan,tuface idibia, nkem owoh ,olu jacobs .
  The aim of the movie is to support the humane vision of rochas Okorocha through his foundation.
