Nollywood stars,Omotola jalade, Genny Nnaji, Stella Damasus, Jim Iyke have been nominated for Cameroon Entertainment Awards .

They were nominated in PAN African Actor/Actress Category alongside Ghana's john dumelo and Majid Michel.

P square has also been nominated for PAN African artist of the year alongside Akon, Awilo longomba, fally ipupa, Viviane Ndour and patience dabany.

CEA was created to comprehensively recognize cameroonian entertainers from all over the world, both English-speaking and French-speaking.and encouraging talent, nurturing it to an internationally-rated standard.

The Maiden Edition of the CEA Awards will be taking Place at The Prestigious Cramton Auditoriun In Howard University in DC, July 28th 2012.

Kevin Lyttle Returns With 'Wine and Go Down'

International soca pop star Kevin Lyttle debuts the video for his sizzling single, "Wine And Go Down," which was released in November 2011. This is Lyttle's first video from his highly-anticipated upcoming album, which is currently in production.

Released on his very own Tarakon Records, "Wine And Go Down"exemplifies the artist's versatility as he embraces the role of a deejay/rapper to fuse with his acclaimed signature vocal-style, forming this hybrid of island soca and pop club fusion.

The video was directed by Hamlet Mark and was shot on location in Miami and will see an official launch on Saturday, March 23 at the Blue Martini in Kendall, Miami. The red carpet event will be open to media and the public.

Lyttle shot to international fame when his smash hit "Turn Me On" grooved all the way to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart, representing soca music in the mainstream market in a way that's never been done before, and hasn't been done since. The track was from his self-titled debut album on Atlantic Records, back in 2004.

Beyonce Returns To Stage In May,First Time Since Giving Birth

R&B /pop star Beyonce is set to return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy carter.

The Grammy winner will perform three concerts in New Jersey in May at Atlantic City's Revel Resorts .The shows will be held over Memorial Day weekend for the premiere of the $2.4 billion resort.

Beyonce will perform in the Ovation Hall, which has 5,050 seats.Beyoncé gave birth to her first child in January. She is married to rapper Jay-Z.

The singer released her fourth album, the platinum-seller "4," in June 2011.

Simon Cowell To Axe ' X-Factor' Due to Low Ratings

TV mogul and X-factor creator,Simon Cowell has warned he will axe the popular singing competition if it flops this year.He fears the talent contest could have run its course after 10 years on the box.

Uk daily star quotes him saying: "In a year's time we might say: 'Right, that's the end of The X Factor. Let's start something new.'"

"I'd rather fall off the cliff on numbers than deteriorate slowly."We have something in development which could replace The X Factor."

"Most things in music, fashion or TV tend to be across a 10-year period. The great test of success is if you can transcend a decade. I believe we can do it again if we're prepared to be brave."He concluded.

He is still fuming that last year's was not the big smash that he had wanted. Cowell has backed the current judging line-up of Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos to return for a second year.

MTV Base and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation released the long-awaited release of the music video ofShuga, the hit track by Banky W featuring WizKid, Bon'eye and L Tido.

The video for the upbeat single premiered on Spanking New on MTV Base (DSTV Channel 322) on Friday 16 March 2012 on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and was simultaneously unveiled at a VIP screening of Shuga: Love, Sex, Money in Lagos' Silverbird Galleria on Friday evening. The music video was also aired on the Big Friday Show on STV in Nigeria on Friday night, and will subsequently go on 'A' list rotation on MTV Base.

The music video, directed by Clarence Peters and shot on location in Kenya, features Banky W and his fellow artists as well as footage from the 6-part sex- and-relationships TV series, that has been captivating audiences on MTV Base and other broadcasters across the continent since it premiered on 14 February. The four artists came together after MTV Base and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation commissioned them to create the track to promote the TV series. The audio track of Shuga was released in February 2012.

Featuring a cast of red-hot African actors and an Oscar-winning directing team, Shuga: Love, Sex, Money boldly addresses sexual health topics head-on, bravely confronting taboo topics such as rape and sex-for-gifts, told through the lives of realistic characters and emotional situations drawn from real life. Shuga's compelling storylines are being broadcast on TV and radio stations around the world, revealing the tangled love lives of characters such as Baby, Leo, Dala, Ayira, Femi, Violet and Kennedy, among others.
