Baba suwe's ingested drugs might be forced to remove if he doesn't excrete -NDLEA

   Popular Nollywood comic actor, Baba suwe is still with the NDLEA and he is yet to excrete the narcotic drugs believed to be in his body after the court ordered the NDLEA to keep him for another 15 days starting from october 21.
    An official of the agency, who spoke with an online publication yesterday , explained that the agency might seek the courts permission to subject Baba Suwe to further tests to remove the ingested drugs by insertion instead of further waiting for the actor to excrete the drugs. A situation which he said might result into dire consequences for him. Extended period of observation might lead to a situation whereby the drugs might burst into the actors system, which will be fatal for him.
      
       We have subjected Baba Suwe to General Scanning (using Soter R S scanner) and CT scan, both of which indicated high probability of ingestion of narcotic drug, which hasnt get defecated several days after confinement. Conscious of the need to operate within the ambit of the law,but determined to truly ascertain the innocence or otherwise of Baba Suwe, we were forced to apply for court permission to keep him under observation for a further 15 days.
     Three days after the court permission, Baba Suwe is yet to excrete the substances suspected to be narcotic drugs. So we might seek the courts leave to subject him to optic fibre endoscopy or laparoscopy, the source explained. 

Raggae star "Vybz Kartel" Charged With another Murder

    One of Jamaica's most popular deejays "Vybez Kartel "now has a second murder charge against him.
     Police say 35-year-old dancehall star Vybz Kartel (Adidja A. Palmer )was charged late Monday in the August slaying of a Jamaican man nicknamed "Lizard."
    Earlier this month, police accused the rapper of conspiring with others to kill a 27-year-old music promoter who was gunned down on a street corner.
   Assistant Police Commissioner Ealan Powell tells the Jamaica Gleaner that Kartel is being investigated "in connection with a number of murders, shootings and gunrunning."
    Kartel's defense attorney could not be reached about the latest allegations on Tuesday.

Singer Madonna's 'stalker' detained indefinitely in a secure psychiatric unit.

     A man who broke into Madonna's home has been sentenced to be detained indefinitely in a secure psychiatric unit.

Grzegorz Matlok, who gained entry into her London home earlier this year before he was wrestled to the ground by her bodyguards, was convicted at Southwark Crown Court yesterday (October 24).

The court heard Madonna was "alarmed and distressed" and feared for the safety of her children when she heard the 30-year-old travelled from Poland to burgle a mews house linked to the singer's Marylebone home before entering her own, reports The Metro.
During the break-in, which happened while the star was in the US, he stole a can of Red Bull, explored the singer's bedroom and rifled through her clothes.

     Matlok was eventually caught after being spotted by friend and tenant Nathan Rissmann. Nine months earlier, he also broke into Madonna's Wiltshire estate and tried on some of her ex-husband's clothes, before being restrained by the film director.

   Matlok, who suffers from schizophrenia, told police the singer had given him permission to stay at her property. But she issued a statement saying:
I do not know the defendant, I've not had any form of relationship with the defendant, nor have I had any form of contact by phone or by email or by any other way with the defendant.

Baba suwe seeks Annulment of Detention order

   The popular Nollywood comedian, Babatunde Omidina, a.k.a Baba Suwe, yesterday filed a motion before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos through his lawyer bamidele Aturu, asking the court to vacate an earlier order empowering the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to detain him for additional 15 days.According to an online publication , the motion brought pursuant to Order 26 Rule 11 of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2009b,contains Baba suwe  asking for an order of the court, discharging or vacating the order. 
     He is also contending that the application on which the order obtained by the NDLEA was based on "grossly irregular and constitutes an incurable abuse of the processes of the court." Baba suwe also insists that the said NDLEA's application was contrary to public policy and constitutes wanton violation of his fundamental rights as protected by the 1999 Constitution. This motion is slated to be heard tomorrow.Also the NDLEA has denied rumours of him excreting 16 wraps of narcotic drugs
