| Amy Winehouse's father to release daughter's life experiences in new book Posted: 10 Oct 2011 01:49 PM PDT  The publisher says Mitch Winehouse will write about everything from his daughter's childhood to her singing career to her well-publicized struggles with substance abuse. Amy Winehouse died in July at age 27. Financial terms were not disclosed. Proceeds from the book will be donated to the Amy winehouse foundation, which was founded by her father and helps troubled children and young adults.  |
| Ex-beauty queen "Inna Mariam Patty" takes over Miss Ghana pageant Posted: 10 Oct 2011 01:30 PM PDT  A formal announcement was made at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra Monday, at which the new organisers of the pageant, Exclusive Events Ghana, owned by Inna Patty was introduced to the press. Immediate past organisers, Media Whizz Kids, were also in tow to explain the rationale behind the changeover. There will be no Miss Ghana this year but the search for a new beauty queen will be launched February 2012. Unlike the past where a beauty queen will have to wait for a year before she represents the country at the Miss World pageant, new arrangements will ensure that winners will represent the country the same year they are crowned Miss Ghana. source;Myjoyonline  |

| Over $1 million offered for unreleased song in Tupac sex tape Posted: 10 Oct 2011 08:01 AM PDT  According to US gossip site TMZ, the CEO of NOHO, a US firm which manufactures a drink that promises to ensure that people don't have hangovers after a night out, has offered the money to use the track as the theme tune for a new commercial. News that a sex tape featuring the rapper existed emerged last week and two rival pornographic companies were reportedly ready to pay over $150,000 (£98,000) for it, but after hearing of its existence, the rapper's family have made it very clear that they "will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape". According to an official spokesman for Tupac's estate, only his family can authorize the use of Tupac's image for commercial use and they are not prepared to allow his image to be used for this. The tape was reportedly made in 1991 and features an unnamed woman performing oral sex on the rapper during a party while the track in question plays in the background.  |

| Rihanna tops of UK charts with "we found love" Posted: 10 Oct 2011 02:35 AM PDT  Barbados-born R&B singer Rihanna went straight to the top of singles charts with "We Found Love" to claim her sixth British number one, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.Her six number ones in five consecutive years is a record unequalled by any other female solo artist.The single, featuring Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, notched up sales of more than 87,000 in just four days. The U.S.-based singer is due to release her sixth studio album next month.American pop band Maroon 5, featuring Christina Aguilera, held steady in second place with "Moves like Jagger."Spanish DJ Sak Noel, who secured his first British number one single last week with the dance anthem "Loca People," dropped two places to number three.In the albums chart, James Morrison held onto number one for a second week with "The Awakening."  |
