Justin Bieber sets Youtube record with 2 Billion Views,denies baby allegations

     Teen Idol, Justin bieber has set a new YouTube record, becoming the first person to have two billion views on his YouTube Music Channel, report CNN .
Justin, who's hard at work promoting his Holiday CD, Under the Mistletoe, had 94 million views on his channel in the past month alone. The last artist to set a record was Lady Gaga, who in October 2010 became the first to garner one billion views.
    Under the Mistletoe, released Tuesday, is Bieber's first effort as a baritone, a signthat he is maturing into a man.

      A woman named Mariah yeater accused him of fathering her 3 month old baby yesterday ,but he has denied the allegation

President Barack obama tops the list because he maintains the U.S. to remain the most powerful nation in the world, with the largest, most innovative economy and the deadliest military and for taking out the world's deadliest terrorist in May.Microsoft founder Bill gate is at the Fifth position ,facebook's Mark zuckerberg sits at the 9th position while Hillary clinton is the 16th most powerful person.

Alicia Keys donate music instruments to alma mater,launches online contest

   The Grammy-winning singer  visited the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan yesterday and donate music instruments to its students. Keys says her alma mater is underfunded and oversubscribed, "and I hope to make this better for them."
She also launched an online contest where people can share how they would use $1,000 "to make the world a better place." It is part of the global campaign, "World of Betters."
   The contest begins Tuesday and ends Dec. 15.  World of Betters" also features african  rapper/singer K'Naan, who will host an event in Johannesburg.

D’Banj to be honoured with Special Recognition award at Channel O MVAs

    Nigerian superstar,Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as  D'Banj, has been named as this year's Special Recognition award recipient at the upcoming Channel O Music Video Awards which will be broadcast LIVE on Friday, 11 November.
D'Banj follows in the footsteps of many of Africa's most prominent and successful musicians including K'NAAN who was given the Special Recognition award in 2010, Brenda Fassie in 2009 as well as George Lee in 2008.
Being honoured in this way by the Channel O Music Video Awards, brought to you in association with Hyundai, is even more notable for the fact that D'Banj released his debut album just six years ago. However, such has his impact been nationally, continentally and now internationally with his signing to Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music record label, that D'Banj more than deserves this highly prestigious award.Now D'banj's 2011 is set to get even better as he's honoured by Africa's longest-running music awards with the Channel O Music Video Awards' Special Recognition Award.
Voting for the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards is now CLOSED. The Channel O Music Video Awards will be held LIVE on Friday 11 November 2011 at the Sandton Convention Center.

Jay z, Kanye West,Rick Ross Nominated for First MTV Sucker Free Awards

       On December 4, MTV2 will cap a monthlong celebration of hip-hop history month with the inaugural Sucker Free Awards. The show will take place at the historic LIV Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and will feature a special performance from YMCMB. It will air at 11 p.m. ET on MTV2 and be hosted by none other than MTV News' own Sway Calloway.Sucker Free Countdown.


    The Sucker Free Awards will honor the year in hip-hop with a unique look back at the music, moments and personalities that made 2011 so memorable. Seven categories will be determined by a combination of online and social-media voting and tallies from tastemakers throughout the music and entertainment industry.
       Among the most-nominated artists are Tyler, the Creator and his Odd Future crew, who have three nods, including Rookie of the Year, Best Crew of 2011 and Follow Me Like Twitter: The Must Follow Person in Social Media. The rookie category will find Tyler facing off against Big Sean, J. Cole and Wiz Khalifa, while the crew battle includes Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, YMCMB, Slaughterhouse/Shady 2.0, G.O.O.D. Music, Roc Nation and Taylor Gang.

Tyler will take on 50 Cent, Fabolous, Chris Brown and Lil Duval for the Twitter crown.

MI, Banky W,eLDee,others end Hennessy Artistry in Grand style

      It was yet another gathering of fabulous faces, and the crème- de- la- crème within Nigeria's entertainment industry as Hennessy's innovative musical platform- Hennessy Artistry ended with class at Rehab last Friday October 28, 2011
     Fans mingled with the stars from 11pm to 4am rocking to sounds from Nigerian DJs- Caise, Rex, Xclusive and Neptune.
The red carpet and dance floor attracted notable faces like Big Brother All Stars winner Uti, Sheyman, BB Amplified winner Karen, Denrele, pop icon 2face, Eniola Badmus, Deji Awokoya, and Sam Onyemelukwe. Others include Beat FM OAPs Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, Fade Ogunro and Jimmy Akinsola (who hosted the show alongside 4star).
And fans were treated to performances from Goldie, Godwon, SDC, David O, Jesse Jagz and Naeto C. Other star performers include MI, Eldee, and Banky W.
They all took turns taking guest through their repertoire of hits, after which the headliners finished the show with the Hennessy Artistry theme song "Toast to the good life"
Aside delivering electrifying performances, everyone who mounted the stage took it upon themselves to spread the "Good Life message". In Goldie's words "When we celebrate we dey pop Hennessy".
Michael Babalola winner of the Facebook competition agrees with Goldie "There's no better way to celebrate, Hennessy is the brand we all want to relate with which is one of the reasons I entered for the competition in the first place"
He joins the likes of Kennedy Iheanacho and Bodunrin OluwaFemi who were treated like VIP guests in Lagos Mainland and Abuja.
Since inception in 2006, Hennessy Artistry has been at the forefront of mixing and blending hip and inspirational music from around the world. Artistes that have been involved with the music platform include Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, LL Cool J and Fabulous.
Currently in its 5th edition, Hennessy Artistry is Nigeria's most innovative musical platform. The series was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007. Through the years, it has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a battle of DJs and now a platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes.
The initiative which has been the talk of town for several weeks now has gradually found its spot on the Entertainment calendar as one of the projected events of 2011. And the team at Hennessy Cognac has worked hard to see to it that no stones have been left unturned since they announced plans for this year's Hennessy Artistry project.
First, Nigeria's foremost and biggest innovative musical platform – Hennessy Artistry selected top Nigerian artistes- Banky W, Tiwa Savage and eLDee to produce this year's theme song. Titled "Toast to the Good life". Produced by Jesse Jags with help from Banky W and Master Kraft, the track became viral within minutes of release on Thursday September 1, 2011.
On September 5, 2011 Eldee, Jesse Jagz and Banky W embarked on a scheduled trip to Cognac, France where they were treated to the "The Hennessy Heritage experience" alongside Chocolate City's MI who has worked closely with Hennessy in the past.
A club tour of 20 venues across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt started on August 20, 2011 as a prelude to the Hennessy Artistry VIP nights that eventually kicked off on September 30, 2011. While acts like DavidO, Black Magic and Shank were on the bill for the club tour, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, eLDee, WizKid, Brymo, Efa, Pherowshuz and Waconzy thrilled guests at the VIP parties in Lagos Mainland, Abuja, Lagos Island and Port Harcourt.

    MTV has announced the five nominees that will compete in the all-new Worldwide Act category at the 2011 MTV EMAs. For the past month, MTV has allowed fans the world over a chance to vote for their favorite hometown artists.
    Now, the final round of nominees will go head-to-head in a final round of voting in effort to earn the Worldwide Act award/title/honor. In Africa/India/Middle East category ,Only Abdelfattah Grini has made it to the final stage while Nigeria's wizkid, fally ipupa ,cabo snoop, black coffee, and scribe have been dropped." The five finalists in this global category are as follows:

Justin Bieber 'accused of fathering 3-month old baby'

       A 20-year-old California woman has filed a bombshell lawsuit against teen pop icon Justin Bieber alleging he is the father of her three-month-old baby boy.
     Mariah Yeater is demanding the singer take a paternity test "to scientifically confirm" he is the father of the child, according to court papers obtained by Star magazine.The papers were filed in late October and Yeater asks the court for Bieber "to provide adequate support for my baby."
   In an affadavit signed under penalty of perjury Yeater says she was 19 years old when she had sex with the underage star backstage at one of his concerts in Los Angeles.Bieber's reps have strenuously denied the accusations but a court hearing has been set for later this year. In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Bieber's said: "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
