First Nollywood Movies Awards (NMAs 2012) Launched

     Nollywood Movies is a 24 Hour Movie channel on the SKY Platform Channel 329 based in the United Kingdom that specializes in broadcasting movies from the Nigerian Movie industry known as "Nollywood". The Channel was launched in January 2008 and has also been involved in promoting Nigerian Movies through Premieres in the United Kingdom.

    In its social responsibility initiatives, Nollywood Movies is delighted to announce the inaugural Nollywood Movies Awards which will be celebrating Excellence, Outstanding Achievements and Diversity in the industry.
  The Awards will celebrate both English speaking and Indigenous talents with a Nominees' Party set to take place on Saturday 5th May 2012 at the Oriental hotel in Lagos, Nigeria with the Main Awards Ceremony on Saturday 2nd June 2012 at the Civic Centre also in Lagos, Nigeria.

   The primary aim of the Nollywood Movies Awards (NMAs) is to honor and recognize excellence in the Industry. Furthermore, 22 categories have been created which include Acting, Pre and Post Production, which will help develop the industry.
   The Awards will also focus on the highest achievements of films produced for the industry each year in order to motivate and encourage those who make them and inspire new entrants into the industry.

  Members of the Press are invited to attend the Press Conference slated for Friday 27thApril 2012 at the Lagos Ikeja Hotel (Best Western) where the full list of categories and nominees will be revealed. The highlights of the ceremony will be screened later on Nollywood Movies (SKY Channel 329) and on other notable platforms.

D'banj Changes Twitter Profile Info, Unfollows Don Jazzy

   Since the Mo'hit split was made public, no one has really heard from D'banj ,but moments ago, he tweeted for the first time and has also changed his twitter profile information that used to contain Mo'hits records .
   D'banj tweeted:
"To my loyal fans,friends and families.thanks for your patience love and understanding all through these period. I wish you all happy Easter"


    The shocking part is that D'banj has unfollowed his longtime business partner and collaborator Don jazzy on the social networking site, of course you know what that means.

 Ever blazing sensational Danny young is out again with two head banging singles,Vampire and Azonto after previously storming the music industry with Bless me, My girl, Pop the champagne and Eli jah, all singles from the much anticipated album, ''Rebirth'' ,which is dropping soon.
        The video of the song , Vampire was shot recently in the U.K and it is scheduled to rock local and international television stations any moment from now. The track Azonto features Keyman. Singles signed courtesy Beatkiller Records and Blacknights ent U.K.

French R&B Singer Matt Houston Remixes 'E No Easy' With P Square [Video]

    French R&B singer Matt Houston of R&B de Rue fame has remixed P Square's hit song E no Easy with them. The remix was recorded when P square was in france for a concert.They also shot the video for the song. Check out the studio footage below

Heidi Klum Finally Files For Divorce From Seal

 Supermodel Heidi Klum  has moved to formally end her marriage from singer Seal a little over two months after they separated.
    The supermodel filed a divorce document thursday  in a Los Angeles court which looked like a romance storybook that included numerous testaments to their affection for one another, including renewing their wedding vows annually and throwing elaborate Halloween costume parties.
   Klum's filing  cited irreconcilable differences and they entered into a financial agreement after they were married on how to divide their assets.The model  is asking for sole physical custody of the children, with Seal getting visitation and joint legal custody.
    The couple has four children together, including Klum's daughter from a previous relationship. They had been married for more than six and a half years when they announced their separation in January, vowing to keep their breakup amicable.
