NET Hosts Exclusive Listening Session For 2face Idibia's New Album

     As part of activities marking the celebration of its second anniversary, Nigeria's premiere entertainment newspaper Nigerian Entertainment Today will on Wednesday April 25, host select guests to a pre-release listening session of 2face -Idibia's upcoming album.

   The event, hosted by NET in conjunction with Industry Nite and Now Muzik, will hold at 10pm on Wednesday April 25 at Oriental Hotel, in Lekki, Lagos.NET founder Ayeni Adekunle says '2face is Africa's most iconic pop star, and we're honored to have him involved in our anniversary celebrations'.
   Guests, selected carefully from different industries, will have the opportunity to be among the first set of people in the world, to listen to 2face's new materials, which are not due for release until April 30.
The event will be hosted by Tee A.
'All roads will lead to Oriental Hotel, in Lekki on Wednesday April 25, we're inviting our friends and partners to join us for this special event that celebrates the success of our brand, while marking a new, important phase in the career of one of Africa's greatest exports' Ayeni adds.
 2face's manager Efe Omorogbe told journalists the listening session 'is for select friends and fans of both 2face Idibia and Nigerian Entertainment Today'.

Nicki Minaj Shuts Down Twitter Account After Fansite Leaks Her Songs

    YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj has deleted her twitter account after getting angry about her music being leaked online. The rapper who just topped  the Billboard 200 album chart with the new LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded   became very  annoyed after fan site NickiDaily posted leaked tracks from the album, which made her vowed not to return to the social networking site.
    In a series of tweets, she wrote: ''And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me argentina. Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye. (sic)''
  She briefly returning to the site yesterday (15.04.12), tweeting: ''On second thought I'll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet. *side eyes them* *looks into the sea for more* (sic)''
   Her account with over 11 million followers has now been deleted and she has 30 days to reinstate her username should she change her mind.

Titanic Passes $2 Billion Mark in Lifetime Ticket Sales

    James Cameron has shored up his position as king of the worldwide box office .Cameron's 1997 blockbuster "Titanic" sailed beyond the $2 billion mark in lifetime ticket sales, thanks to a 3-D re-release of the film that was timed to the centennial of the ship's sinking.
   Only one other movie has topped $2 billion, and it's also Cameron's. His 2009 sci-fi smash "Avatar" earned $2.8 billion worldwide.
    The "Titanic" reissue took in about $100 million this weekend ,$11.6 million domestically and a whopping $88.2 million in 69 overseas markets. That included a $58 million debut in China and put the re-release total worldwide at $190.8 million.Added to the film's $1.84 billion haul in its original release, "Titanic" now stands at $2.03 billion worldwide.
