Bobby Brown Sentenced to Three Years Probation For Drunk-Driving

     An attorney for Bobby Brown has entered a no contest plea for the singer to one count of drunken driving stemming from an arrest last month.
   Brown was sentenced to three years of informal probation and a 90-day alcohol education course.
   Brown's lawyer Tiffany Feder entered the plea and confirmed the remaining driving under the influence count was dismissed.
  The former New Edition singer and ex-husband of Whitney Houston was arrested March 26 after he was spotted talking on a mobile phone without a hands free kit.

   JJC of defunct 419 Squad has responded to what D'banj said in an interview with thenetng that he cheated Don jazzy while they were with 419 squad . He revealed to Nigezie how he met D'banj ,Don jazzy and how D banj became arrogant to him after few years.Watch the video below. .

I started doing JJC and 419 squad which was a squad of people that was speaking and rapping in yoruba.along the way MP took a guy called D banj to my house and d banj came as normal up and coming artist normally do,baba please your name is big,please help me,yeah and of course ,like the mugu,mumu button activated JJC,i introduced him to my band ,what can you do,he sang,i said thats not really good,the harmonica that you play is really good,lets work on that one and develop your style,along the way another guy called kas brought don jazzy to my houseand don jazyy at that time was playng for solek as a piano player and Dbanj and don jazzy now was working with me.
the thing that upset me was the article said thatthey were working for four years and didnt get anywhere,you tell me whereelse you could be,i toook all of them to womad which is biggest african world stage they could be,we were performing in every single show that there was possible,anything that was happening ,JJC and 419 was doing it,we were at the top of the game and a lot of people can actually testify to that,what are you crying about,i didnt pay you to come and perform,You are nobody,nobody knew you,so would i pay you to come and perform i was giving you an opportunity,giving you a platform to come and perform,so i dont understand that, Number 2 ,the article said something about how i cheated don jazzy,how come don jazzy didnt say that for himself,you tell me what incident i cheated him,i taught him how to produce,which made him don jazzy that he is today,i use to pay him a thousand pounds everymonth in 2004 which was almost 250k for being a trainee,now i come back to nigeria to come and do awoo and i see don jazzy ,d banj .Don jazzy was even talking to me, D'banj was carrying himself like some superstar,yes he has made something of himself and salute to the music that don jazzy made,salute to the lyrics that don jazzy wrote cos i know from mobolowowon to all the way,na me and don jazzy write am,now the rest of the song that follow, i am sure don jazzy wrote it and if na lie let me hear,even wande coal don tell me say na don jazzy and him dey work for the records and now you are mr d banj koko koko,you think you are God,what did you call yourself, jesus of nigerian music.I paid them to learn how to become bette themself ,so that you can become someone big and then for you to turn around and be slandering my name?Ki lon she e now
You have the mouth to say it ,after you don eat my food,sleep in my bed,i even give you girl,you are the one that was the bad seed in the box and thats so obvious.

David Oyelowo Taking Hollywood By Storm

David Oyelowo

     David Oyelowo is a british born Nigerian actor now taking hollywood by storm .David began his stage career in 1999  after attending London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.He was offered a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company playing roles in Ben Jonson's Volpone, as the title character in Oroonoko.
   He made history in 2000 when he became the first black actor to portray an English monarch for the Royal Shakespeare Company when he played the title role in a production of Henry VI Parts I, II and III.
   David starred in the BAFTA award winning series "SPOOKS/MI:5" playing Danny Hunter.  He won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Actor and was also nominated for a BAFTA .

   David made his US debut in two HBO productions, the Kenneth Branagh directed "As You Like It" in August 2006 and as the lead in the mini-series "Five Days," for which he won the Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his performance. In 2008, David starred in the acclaimed adaptation of the Alexander McCall Smith novel "The No.1 Ladies Detective Agencies" directed by the late Anthony Minghella.

   As a successful actor in his homeland of England, David Oyelowo's talent made it easy for him to break into America's film industry. His radiance in some of the UK's best plays and TV series helped him land roles in movies like Red Tails, Derailed, The Help and The Last King of Scotland. The award-winning thespian has even starred in a few indie films and will appear in several upcoming Hollywood hits, including Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, One Shot alongside Tom Cruise and Paperboy, opposite Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey.

D'banj gets verified twitter account

   Nigerian pop-star D banj 's twitter account has been verified . Twitter launched the verified accounts program in  june 2009  to allow celebrities, musicians, athletes, actors, public officials and public agencies on the service display a "verified account" button on their twitter pages.With this feature, one can easily see if an account is real or not.
  Recently, D'banj claimed his account was hacked after few tweets were went out to his  followers .He now joins the likes of Soul singers Asa and nneka who are also using verified twitter accounts.

    People magazine has named Beyonce as the World's Most Beautiful Woman for 2012. The 30-year-old R& B superstar tops the magazine's annual list of the "World's Most Beautiful" in a special double issue. 
    The announcement was made Wednesday. Commenting on her selection, Beyonce tells People: "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth." Beyonce who is married to hip-hop mogul jay z  gave birth to  Blue Ivy Carter in January . 
    "She's just the cutest thing," says the Grammy winner, who sings to her daughter and claims to "love" changing diapers. Does Blue resemble mom or dad? "She looks like Blue," the singer says. "She's her own person." "The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she adds.
    Other celebrities on the list include Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Jessica Pare of "Mad Men."

UN Envoy Lami, UN Ambassador of Peace Sound Sultan and Africa's finest 2Face have collaborated to put out the single Act 4 Africa. The trio were recently appointed Oxfam spokespersons to call on Africans across the continent to action to ensure that the famine experienced in the Horn of Africa recently is the last famine Africa experiences.
As a precursor to a series of public events to raise awareness with Africans everywhere on the importance of addressing Africa's food security crisis, they have pooled together their communal influence on a song – Act4Africa – which they hope will serve as a call to action.
The initiative is part of Oxfam's global campaign that aims to empower men and women living in poverty to claim power in the way the world manages land, water and climate change, so that they can grow or buy enough food to eat – now and in the future. In Nigeria the GROW campaign is implemented under the auspices of Voices for Food Security (VFS)—a platform of 15 Nigerian Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and small-scale farmers associations across the country.
Currently 13 million people in the Sahel region are faced with a serious food crisis that threatens their lives and livelihoods. If early and effective action is not taken, it may prove as devastating and costly as past regional food crises in 2005, 2008 and 2010.
Act 4 Africa was co-written by the artistes, produced by J. Sleek and mixed by Indomix.

Jay-Z Launches Facebook Game " Empire"

   Hip-Hop Mogul Jay Z has launched a new facebook application called Empire. Although currently in beta form, the game will allow players to "live the dream" and mirror his climb from former drug dealer to hip-hop mogul.
    The game lets you create a character and give it a dope name.  Empire begins by giving you a slew of ways to earn points and move up life's ladder. You can visit your mom or significant other for moral support, engage in a rap battle or make a mix tape for street cred, and get a job to pay for your bling, among other activities.Earned points help you move out of the projects and into the "hotspots of the rich and famous" in Manhattan.
   "Make the right choices and the World belongs to you. LIVE THE DREAM," reads a prompt early in the game.
   Empire also features several ways to invite Facebook friends to play or share activity on your TimelineThe game is just the latest Jay-Z venture to make waves online.
