| Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Refutes Bad Health Rumour Posted: 02 Dec 2011 08:42 AM PST  Ebenezer Obey, who flew in from Abuja last Sunday morning, where he graced a fund raising programme of the Anglican Communion, Ilesa Diocese, informed it was a false alarm raised on his health by the Yoruba magazine and jingles of same on radio,according to Source. Evangelist Obey who recently lost his wife assured that he is in very good health as it is only a healthy man that could move from Lagos to Akure and Abuja between Thursday and Saturday and be back in church on Sunday as he did few days ago.  |
| Boxing legend Muhammad ali rushed to the Hospital unconscious Posted: 02 Dec 2011 06:13 AM PST  Muhammad Ali was reportedly taken to hospital after falling unconscious at home just days after his frail appearance at a funeral for Joe Frazier.Ali was last seen in public at a Philadelphia service for his fellow boxing legend on November 14, but a woman called 911 for him five days later. The call came from the 6,000 sq ft estate he shares with wife Yolanda in Paradise Valley, Arizona, reported Star magazine and RadarOnline.

| Steve Harvey to retire from stand-up comedy in 2012 Posted: 02 Dec 2011 02:40 AM PST  Radio host and long-time stand-up comedian Steve Harvey has announced on his syndicated "Steve Harvey Morning Show" that he plans to retire from doing stand-up in 2012 According to eurWeb, Harvey broke the news to listeners after reading an e-mail from a fan who said they had heard rumors that he was leaving his radio show. "This is my Jamaican background," Harvey joked, according to EUR Web. "I don't quit no job. No, sir. That's not me." Harvey explained that his last stand-up performance will be at next year's Hoodie Awards.The past year has been a good one for steve, his best-selling novel "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" went into film production in July for an April 2012 release. The film's star-studded lineup includes Taraji P. Henson, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart and Michael Ealy. Harvey also has plans to premiere his own daytime talk show on NBC.  |
