Floyd Mayweather Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail for Beating Up Babymama

    Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.  just took a plea deal in Las Vegas to avoid trial on felony allegations that he battered his ex-girlfriend.
   The 34-year-old Mayweather pleaded  guilty  in Las Vegas Justice Court to misdemeanor battery domestic violence and harassment charges.
    The plea deal avoids an evidentiary hearing on felony grand larceny, coercion and robbery charges, plus misdemeanor domestic battery and harassment charges in a September 2010 argument involving Mayweather's ex-girlfriend and two of their children.
   He was  sentenced to 90 days in jail .He  will serve 90 days in custody - less 3 days for time served, 12 months domestic violence counselling , 100 hours community service work and $ 2,500 fine.
Mayweather could have faced 34 years in state prison if convicted of all charges

Dutch Magazine Calls Rihanna "The Ultimate N---a Bitch,Editor Resigns After Apology

    The Dutch magazine Jackie recently referred to pop star Rihanna in an article as "the ultimate n---a bitch." The singer was not happy.
   "Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you..." Rihanna tweeted yesterday at the fashion publication's editor, Eva Hoeke.
"F--K YOU!!!" she exclaimed ... dashes not included.

  Prior to that concise sentiment, Rihanna had posted this lengthy missive: "@evajackie I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!!"
"You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race!"
"That's your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made absolutely no sense... 'N---A BITCH'?!"

The Article

   The Dutch fashion magazine has been forced to apologise .Editor-in-chief Eva Hoeke said there was no racist motive behind the statement - and claimed it was meant as a joke.

  Part of the statement released on Jackie Magazine's facebook  page titled  Eva Hoeke quits as Editor-in-Chief of Jackie magazine 

 As a result of a recent publication in Jackie magazine, issue 49, a worldwide outcry arised over an article on page 45 entitled "De Niggabitch", which refers to Rihanna and her fashion style. This word is used as slang in the United States.
Throughout the various social media there has been an emotional response to this choice of words, as published in Jackie. As a first reaction to this editor-in-chief Eva Hoeke said via Twitter that the choice of words was meant as a joke and offered an apology to anyone who felt offended. This reaction stirred up even more commotion, as Hoeke herself also referred to the term elsewhere in the magazine. 
  Following these events she consulted with publisher Yves Gijrath of GMG. Together they came to the following conclusion: In the interest of Jackie Magazine and all involved she will quit her job as editor-in-chief effective immediately. Publisher Yves Gijrath regrets the state of affairs and praises Hoeke's attitude, who primarily thinks of the credibility of the title, which – as she realizes herself – would have been damaged had she stayed. According to Gijrath there's no doubt about the intentions and qualities of Eva Hoeke, however he does think this joint decision is the correct one. Hoeke concludes: 'I should have counted to ten before taking unsubtle stands through social media channels. Through this my credibility has been hurt and that neither fits the role of an editor-in-chief, nor Jackie Magazine. 

   Jackie Magazine will invite Rihanna to share her feelings and thoughts on the article in the next issue.

Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne Receive Teacher of the Year Awards

A Florida education company recently Rappers  Lil wayne and Nicki Minaj with Teacher Of The Year Awards.The Better Education Place, nestled in South Florida, awarded the Best Male and Best Female Teacher awards to Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, who both beat out actual educators, judged across several categories. 
The Better Education Place executives  issued a press release on their website that reads:
Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj have won quite a few music awards this year. Now they can add one more award to their mantle, teacher of the year. Better Education Place an education company based in South Florida announced the winners of its first annual teacher of the year awards. The duo along with several other teachers were judged based on seven different categories including, ability to capture and maintain attention, the ability to move their audience or create interaction, the ability to inspire, effective use of language, use of memory devices, ability to transform behavior or make them do as you do and the quality of the content.The only area where they had a moderate showing was in the content.According to Melvin El CEO of Better Education Place, it's a bit of an irony but no less deserved. He says that the methodologies the two stars are using are undeniable forces in learning. Children learn their stuff because they have all the right methods. Apparently students are drawn in by the "swagger" he said. If you are a teacher today and you don't have any swagger you are going to struggle to get your students attention. It turns out a teacher can learn a lot from Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.The methods are part of a process that Better Education Place utilizes to create their own hip hop based education programs. They have been known to teach children to read within days. "If it works, we have to use it." said mister El, "we can't throw the baby out with the bath water ………especially when we are talking about our babies." With the help of hip hop we can make education fun again. Better Education Place is a company with a vision of helping children to develop a passion for reading and learning so they can excel at education and ultimately succeed. It's ironic as well that most of the problems we have in our community can be traced back to reading and early learning. To be good at hip-hop it seems you have to master some of the very same skills and two people who exemplify these qualities well are Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

Chika clears surgical bills for 3 children

 Nollywood star actress, Chika Nancy Ike recently survived a ghastly motor accident that could have claimed her life. She  has showed appreciation by giving back to the society. Chika recently made a visit to National orthopaedic hospital ,Igbobi lagos where she donated,crushes, wheelchairs  and cleared surgical bills for three children
 She announced ;
  .i visited IGBOBI with my mum and friends to donate wheelchairs,crutches and cleared 3 surgical bills for 3 children at the childrens ward...it was a "BITTER" "SWEET"experience...it was really "BITTER" seeing people lying paralised in bed hoping for a miracle and could give anything to walk again and "SWEET" seeing their faces full of smiles and still thankful not minding their condition.

Rapper M.I Abaga To Rock Ghana with T-Pain

     Rapper M.I has been confirmed to join American superstar T-Pain at T-Pain Live in Ghana concert.
     The show which is being organized by 233 connect will hold on  December 24, at dome of  Accra international conference centre .
   M.I joins a list of other acts on the show including VIP, Kwaw Kese, Keche ,Buk Bak, Gasmilla, Bra Kelvin and a host of others.
