| Photo;Olu Jacobs,Ramsey Nouah ,Majid Michel Receive Ghana Movie Awards Posted: 29 Dec 2011 09:33 AM PST  Olu jacobs,Joke silva and sons Nollywood veteran actor, Olu Jacobs received the Lifetime achievement award at the recently held 2011 Ghana Movie awards .Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah also went away with Best actor Africa collaboration while Omotola jalade won the best actress africa collaboration. Ghanaian actor Majid Michel made history when he became the only Ghanaian actor to have picked two awards ,best Actor in Lead Role (English Language) award with the Frank Rajah-directed 'Somewhere In Africa'and best Actor In Supporting Role (English Language) for the same movie.

| Desmond Elliot, Tonto Dikeh,Chika Ike,others joined Uti for charity event Posted: 29 Dec 2011 08:05 AM PST  Famous reality show winner Uti Nwanchuwku of the Big Brother Africa (BBA) fame gatherered his friends and colleague in the entertainment industry together to a charity event organized by his fan club at Ojez on the 21st of December 2011. The event which was solely a charitable work done to cater for the needy in the society had many celebrities, fans and friends of Uti in attendance and saw them trooping out in their numbers to donate food items and material things to the needy who had been carefully selected from different parts of the state. Among the friends of Uti in attendance were; sultry Nollywood diva, Tontoh Dike, Susan Peters, talent Nollywood actor and Glo ambassador Desmond Elliot, Actors Alex Ekubo and Micheal Okon, Music diva Goldie, soap opera stars Ajibade Gbenro Emmanuel,Moyo Lawal and Halima Abubakar, Nollywood diva,Chika Ike,former MR Nigeria Bryan Okwara and Keneth Okoli, former Gulder Ultimate man Micheal Nwachukwu, and the recently crowned Ultimate man Christopher Okechukwu, RnB star,Dipp and Lanky C. The charitable event was organised mainly to cater for widows, and the physically challenged children in the society. Among the organisations which benefitted from this charitable works were; God's wife, a widow's home, school for physically challenged children Modupe Cole, school for the down syndrome kids etc.mongst the items brought by the cheerful donation were bags of rice, cartoons of Noodles, bags of salt, packets of Tin Tomatoes, packs of Toilet Tissues, pampers, bottles of drinks, bags of beans, cartoons of juice, clothes etc. Other Notable People/outfits that supported this cause include Orode Uduaghan(daughter of Governor of Delta State) who sent down 50 Bags of Rice.

| Tyler Perry and Jammie foxx sued For $1M Each For Stealing Movie Idea Posted: 29 Dec 2011 04:05 AM PST  Singer /actor Jamie Foxx and Actor /director Tyler Perry are being sued for $1 million each by a prisoner who claims the duo jacked his idea for a groan-worthy new comedy. In the Comedy movies, skank robbers ,the pair are starring as lady bank robbers alongside Martin Lawrence who are all characters taken from their previous films. Martin will be getting back into his Sheneneh bodysuit , Jamie foxx will be returning as Wanda from Living Colour and Tyler perry will star as his famous Madea. TMZ reports that Shamont Lyle Sapp who coincidentally, says he's serving time in Oklahoma for 10 bank robberies filed a lawsuit, claiming he gave Foxx and Perry the idea for the project and they cut him out of the action.According to the docs, Shamont had the idea to unite the three characters in one film , but his version wasn't a comedy about bank robbers , it was a drama about a mental hospital. "A male white mental patient takes Madea hostage ... He deals with phone calls from the negotiators, as Madea actually pleads for her life in a very sad tear-jerking way ... Her pleas are to be very sad. No jokes at all," the court documents state. Sapp is also suiing Fox broadcaster and producer David Zuckerman for $4 million in damages. | I Am Not Expecting Any Child From Any Lover- Timaya Posted: 29 Dec 2011 03:29 AM PST  Rumours have been flying around that the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa , Timaya has impregnated an abuja lady and they are expecting a child together ,Timaya has debunked the rumour during a TV interview.
