Simon Cowell Signs L.A Reid For X Factor Season 2

Former lsland Def Jam Music group CEO and Epic Records chairman,Antonio L.A Reid will remain a judge on the X factor.Reid has signed for Season 2 of the popular US singing competion .

The judge signed his option contract on Friday, four days after it was revealed that creator Simon Cowell had dismissed host Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from season 2 duty.

Mariah Carey and Beyonce are being considered to replace both Nicole and Paula. Few days ago ,it was reported that Simon offered Beyonce $100 Million per season to be a judge .

The season 2 is expected to start in september

Chronicle Tops Weekend Boxoffice With $22M

New Entries Fox's "Chronicle" grossed an estimated $22 million and CBS Films' "Woman in Black" took an estimated $21 million making them Number 1 and 2 respectively ..Last week Chart-topper Liam Neeson's The grey grossed $9.5 Million placing it at the third spot.
