Joseph Yobo's Brother Turns Gospel Musician in Uk

    Gideon Mikel Yobo,the younger brother of super eagles player and captain  Joseph Yobo is now a gospel musician .
    Gideon who currently lives in liverpool graduated last year from a top uk university with a masters degree in oil and gas Management.
     He ventured into full time gospel rap music and performs with the name sparrowjay.He recently released his debut album and it's getting  good airplay on Uk major radio stations.
   Gideon who  manages some of joseph 's businesses in london and turkey also plays football  for Frontline Church in the English FA National Christian League.

Queen Elizabeth celebrates 60 years on throne (Photos)

      Sixty years after she ascended to the throne in an austere Britain still facing post-war rationing, Queen Elizabeth marked the milestone today february 6,2012 with a new website that showed just how much the world has changed during her reign. 
    The 25-year-old princess was on tour in Kenya when she became queen on February 6, 1952, following the death of her father, King George VI. She immediately flew back to Britain where she was welcomed by then Prime Minister Winston Churchill. 
   The royal family has been through tumultuous times since then. Three of the queen's four children have divorced and every personal crisis has been dissected by world media.
   The most extreme case was the 1997 death of Princess Diana, ex-wife of the queen's eldest son Prince Charles, a rare moment of mass unpopularity for the monarch who was criticized for not showing enough emotion amid a national outpouring of grief.

     During her reign, the royal family has also repeatedly come under fire over its expensive lifestyle and the queen has had to give up some of her privileges, such as her beloved yacht Britannia, which was decommissioned in 1997.

    The queen promised  to "dedicate myself anew to your service".
"I hope also that this Jubilee year will be a time to give thanks for the great advances that have been made since 1952 and to look forward to the future with clear head and warm heart," she wrote to her subjects in a message.
    The royal household today launched a festive new website , thediamondjubilee.org, allowing users to send the queen a message, listing 60 interesting or amusing facts about her, and featuring a photo timeline of world events during her reign.
     The queen is now the second longest-serving monarch in British history after Queen Victoria, who reigned from 1837 to 1901.

   Star Actress Faithia Balogun celebrated her birthday yesterday february 5,2012 at the Elegushi beach in Lagos .
   Her kids, friends and family were present at the party . Among the nollywood stars present were Eniola badmus, seun akindele,bunmi nelson .
   Yesterday was also the birthday of her ex-husband,veteran actor-director  saheed balogun according to Internet movie database(Imdb) .The couple had two children together before they seperated in 2007.

   Ace Comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as BasketMouth is taking his music career very serious as he is set to release his second official single. We 're not yet sure if an album is coming out .The second single is titled Where I am from featuring his brother Steelz , Rukus,eLDee and Wizkid ,produced by eLDee.
  The comedian released his first single Where u dey some days ago and has received both positive and negative reviews.

Rapper Bow Wow Ordered to be Arrested for Failing to Pay Tour Bill

     A judge in Georgia has ordered YMCMB Rapper shad Gregory Moss  known as  Bow Wow to  be arrested and held in custody .
   TMZ Reports the rapper didn't show up to a court date back in 2009 in Tennessee for allegedly failing to pay about $100,000 to a tour bus company .The company then took the case to Georgia to try and get the court where Bow Wow lives to enforce the judgment. 
    He was ordered to produce documents in his home state regarding the lawsuit, which he never did. As a result, the tour company filed a motion to have the rapper held in contempt.The judge then ordered for his arrest .
     Bow Wow has not been taken into custody so far, or responded to the lawsuit.
