      Award-winning American-Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Robin Thicke was arrested in Manhattan for marijuana possession Friday.
     New York daily news reports that Singer Robin Thicke was arrested in Manhattan for marijuana possession and he is being processed Friday afternoon .He is expected to receive a desk appearance ticket.
  The R&B crooner's fifth studio album, "Love After War" was released last December.

Whitney's Late father' Tomb at Fairview cemetary

       Whitney Houston's final resting place will be next to her father, John Russell Houston Jr.
    Houston will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, after funeral services on Saturday, a source close to the family confirmed. Houston's father was buried there in 2003.
   Fifteen hundred guests are expected to attend the private funeral services including Aretha Franklin, Clive Davis and Stevie Wonder.
   Houston died in Beverly Hills at age 48, one day before the Grammy awards.

        Nigerian singer /Producer, Martins Okey justice popularly known as  J Martins is ready to release his third album. 
   The Good or bad hitmaker who recently got married will release the album on March 26,20102.
  The album titled selah contains 12 tracks including the previously released Good Tym featuring Angolan star Cabo snoop ,Kele papa featuring fally ipupa ,and Ereke .The album concert will hold later in the year.Jay Martins has released two albums Get Serious(2008) and Elevated (2009).

Nick cannon hospitalized last month

     Mariah carey's husband and TV /radio host Nick Cannon has stepped down from his New York City radio show.
   During his holiday vacation in the beginning of 2012, Nick was rushed to the hospital due to kidney issues. He came back strong, but now he is having  more issues with his health. On Wednesday he announced that he was hospitalized over the weekend for two blood clots found in his lungs.

Nick released a statement on the radio website:
   Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated"Cannon's Countdown" weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep."


    He tweeted few hours ago:
"A bitter sweet morning. I have to stop my radio show. Doctors orders.
The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow down and stop working so hard then it's a wrap!"


 Nick and Mariah Carey became parents of twins, a son Moroccan and a daughter Monroe, last year.

Forest Whitaker to Play Archbishop Desmond Tutu In "The Archbishop And The Antichrist"

   Hollywood actor Forest Whitaker has signed on to play  Archbishop Desmond Tutu in a project by English-French film director Roland Joffe, titled The Archbishop And The Antichrist .
    The Academy Award-winning actor will play the Archbishop  during his time with the Truth and Reconciliation hearings, which were established after the end of apartheid.
   The film will be based on the play by Michael Ashton, and center on the Truth and Reconciliation Hearings - a post-apartheid commissioning in which victims took an active role in the judicial process (called on to give accounts of the gross human rights violations they were subjected to), while offenders were encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, "to repair the harm they caused.
  The film will be produced through Joffe's company Lightmotive, with Joffe adapting the play for film himself.
