      Veteran nollywood actress ,Shola shobowale will tommorow May 4,2012 bury her late father paa olagookun  . 
      The burial  is scheduled to take place in Akure,ondo state.Top nollywood actors have been confirmed to be in attendance . Paa olagookun passed away on March 5,2012 at University college Hospital ,Ibadan after a brief illness .

   Popular Tv Host Ik Osakioduwa is returning as the host of BigBrother Africa for the fourth season in a row. 
       Ik who has been hosting the popular TV show since 2009 expressed his excitement on this season."Double Up" twist which forced Housemates to enter the competition in pairs. He said he was looking forward to all the dynamics of the StarGame and how love will unfold; "People always fall in love on Big Brother so it will be nice to see how that works out."

    Pop Star lady gaga has split with her boyfriend of ten months 'Vampire Diaries' Star Boyfriend Taylor Kinney.The chart topping singer called it quits with her boyfriend as she wants to concentrate more on her concert. 
    According to reports by US Weekly, a source spilled that since Lady Gaga will be touring up until next year, it wouldn't be ideal for her to be in a relationship.
    "She will be touring nonstop until next year and has found she can't have relationship at the same time," the source said.  "There's just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming." "Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn't completely get Gaga," says a friend. "She loved that she got this guy who everyone thought was hot! But it was never going to last."the source said.

Ashton Kutcher Accused of Racism For Portraying Bollywood Producer In Online Ad

         Tv star and actor Aston Kucther has been accused of being a racist .An online ad featuring him as an Indian was  pulled offline after viewers called it racist. 
     The images and video for Popchips feature the 34-year-old "Two and a Half Men" star in brown makeup portraying a Bollywood producer named Raj who is "looking for love." They were removed from YouTube and Facebook after being criticized online.
    Blogger and Twitterati Anil Dash is one of the initiators of the online campaign against the ad, wrote on his blog: "Don't watch it (the ad); it's a hackneyed, unfunny advertisement featuring Kutcher in brownface talking about his romantic options, with the entire punchline being that he's doing it in a fake-Indian outfit and voice. That's it, there's seriously no other gag"

    A spokeswoman for Popchips says the dating parody featuring the four characters was "created to provoke a few laughs and was never intended to stereotype or offend anyone." She added that the company hopes "people can enjoy this in the spirit it was intended."

    Today May 3,2012, Nollywood star actress Genevieve Nnaji turns 33. Genny was born may 3,1979 in mbaise, imo state Nigeria.
She started her acting career as a child actress in the then popular television soap opera Ripples at the age of 8.In 1998 at the age of 19 she was introduced into the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie "Most Wanted. Genevieve has starred in almost 130 films till date .
