D'banj's Oliver Twist Debuts At No.9 on BBC Official Chart

    Nigerian pop star D'banj's Oliver twist has debuted at No 9 on BBC radio 1 official chart .D'banj co-hosted the official chart today May 20  with the host 'Reggie Yates' to hear his track revealed as the official chart No.9 .
     The chart had Rihanna's where ve u been at No.6 and Rita ora's R.I.P at No.1.Oliver twist has been a success in the Uk as it was also No.9 on Uk Itunes chart last week . 
   D'banj will perform in london june 23rd at the BBC Radio 1's  Hackney weekend to be headlined by Jay z and Rihanna .

'The Avengers' Tops Box Office For Third Straight Weekend

    Marvel's The Avengers" has topped the box office for a third straight weekend. The superhero blockbuster took in $55.1 million to lead .
   Battleship starring pop-star rihanna  which had high hopes of becoming a summer blockbuster could rake in  only $25.3 million this first weekend.
  The dictator was at the third place with $17.4.Dark shadows and what to expect when you are expecting completed the top five with $12.7 and $10.5 respectively.
   The Avengers" opened over the weekend of May 4 with a record $207.4 million in sales and set another record a week later with $103.2 million to cross the $1B mark, the most ever for a film in its second weekend.

Ebenezer Obey To Go on US Tour

       Chief commander Evangelist Ebenezer Obey fabiyi is ready to tour the US. The juju legend will start the tour on August 23 and will end on september 23 ,2012 .
    The tour which is being packaged by World Audience promotions in collaboration with afriQtalk will see obey perform in major cities in the US. Arik Air is the official sponsor .
    Obey who recently celebrated his 70th birthday will be performing with his fellow juju legend King sunny ade at the oleku concert on May 27,2012 at the Harbour point Victoria Island.

Jackie Chan Announces Retirement From Action Films

       Hong Kong-born Chinese stuntman and actor  Jackie Chan is landing his last punch as an action star, but says he is stepping into retirement having made one of the most important films of his career.
     The Hong Kong actor told the AP on Friday that his latest film "Chinese Zodiac" will be his last action movie. Chan, launching the movie at the Cannes Film Festival with co-stars Kwone Sang Woo, Yao Xingtong and Liao Fan, said that people don't believe him when he says he is going to retire. 
    "They say 'no, you're still young, you can still do it,' but I have to stop one day." The 58-year-old says he is bowing out with "Chinese Zodiac" in which he plays a fortune hunter, travelling the world trying to track down missing astrological antiques because it is one of the "most important" films in his career.
    Chan says he spent seven years working on the movie writing, producing, directing and coordinating fight scenes Chan says "Chinese Zodiac," and the many films before it, have taken their toll on his body. "It hurts, it really hurts," he says, flinching. "The shoulder, the ankle, it really hurts. You don't know because I still look healthy."

Facebook Founder,Mark Zuckerberg Weds Priscilla Chan

     A day after the historic Facebook stock offering,facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on Saturday wed 27-year-old Priscilla Chan, his girlfriend of nearly a decade. 
     Zuckerberg gave his new bride a ring he had designed with a "very simple ruby" to end an incredibly eventful week, according to a guest. 
   The couple married at his Palo Alto, Calif. home in front of fewer than 100 stunned guests who thought they would be attending a party to celebrate Chan's graduation from medical school. On Monday, Zuckerberg turned 28 and Chan graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where she'd studied pediatrics.
    The wedding had been planned for months and the couple was waiting for Chan to finish medical school, but the date of the IPO was a "moving target" not known when the wedding was set. 
    Attendees, including Facebook's chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg, were told after they arrived that they were not mere party guests but wedding guests.
     Food was served family-style and included dishes from the couple's favorite Palo Alto sushi restaurant. Zuckerberg met Chan at Harvard, where he founded Facebook in a dorm room in 2004, and have been together for more than nine years.
