Cameroonian Artists Go Against P Square's MTN Concert Due to Low Performance Fees

      Cameroon Union of Musicians led by romeo dika has revealed  its intention to stop  a concert being organized by MTN on May 18 which will be headlined by Nigeria's P Square at Younde.
    In a  document obtained by celebregion.com ,there will be a massive protest on May 18 due to low performance fees being paid to cameroonian artists by MTN  .The union claims MTN is not being fair to them by paying huge amount to  foreign artists to perform in cameroon.
    "The sycamu has put in place administrative mechanisms to prevent any concert organized by MTN in Cameroon, to force them to pay the fee on downloads",part of the statement obtained by celebregion reads

The first paragraph of the document above which was written in french ,translated to English reads: 
    " In the application of the provisions relating to copyright rights related to copyright
With the determinations patriotic to defend our rights and the flight of capital, the Executive of the Cameroon Union Office of  Musicians called its members, allies and supporters to mobilize, on May 18, 2012 at younde against the Organization of the music concert which the MTN company is the Organizer".
It is not yet clear whether the concert will be cancelled by MTN or not

    Wow magazine has been granted the exclusive rights to cover the event . Uche  has denied many wedding stories about her in the past.The recent one was a report by leadership newspaper which she immediately debunked.

      Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are joining the judging panel on "The X Factor" this fall, part of Fox's effort to boost its underperforming music competition shows. 
     The network's executives, in presenting next season's schedule to advertisers on Monday, also promised changes for "American Idol. 
       "I'm so excited about the whole experience," Spears said. "It's going to be so much fun and different from anything I've ever done. I'm ready to find the true star". 
    They replace judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were dispatched along with host Steve Jones after last fall's debut season of the competition didn't meet the creator's inflated expectations.

     Pop star Lady Gaga has been refused a permit to perform in the Indonesian capital next month over security concerns after Islamic groups voiced strong objections to her "vulgar" style. 
     Three Islamic groups have expressed their opposition to the concert on June 3, demanding it be stopped.
      Indonesia, a nation of 240 million people,, has the world's largest population of Muslims as well as significant minorities of Christians, Buddhists and Hindus. "She's a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching," said Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI). 
    "This is dangerous." More than 30,000 concert tickets from a total of 40,000 tickets had been sold, said the Jakarta Post newspaper. It was supposed to be the biggest show on Lady Gaga's Asian tour, with fans snapping up every seat in Jakarta's 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium , half of them in the first two hours of sales. 
     Permits usually are issued about three weeks before a concert in Jakarta, so it is common to sell tickets well ahead of receiving the permit. It was not immediately clear if the ticket sales would be refunded .Lady Gaga's Asian tour started late last month and many of the stops have sold out.

   Fergie of Black Eyed peas was rumoured to have died on monday and it spread like wildfire on social media.
   Manchester city player Carlos tevez held up an offensive banner saying "R.I.P Fergie" after his club won the premier league title .The banner  started the death rumour of the singer.However, the footballer wasn't referring to the singer but Manchester united manager, Sir Alex ferguson .The act by tevez has been highly criticized by fans and football pundits.The black eyed peas' Fergie whose real name is also stacy ferguson has been confirmed to be alive and well.
