Family Plans Private Funeral for Donna Summer,Beyonce Pays Tribute

   Disco Queen ,Donna Summer's funeral will be a private one for family and close friends.Donna's Publicist ,Brian Edwards said in a statement on friday that her family is overwhelmed and appreciates the outreach from fans and friends, but that her funeral services will remain private.Details on when and where services would be held are not yet revealed.
  R&B Superstar Beyonce has paid tribute to the legend.Bey penned a letter on her website.The letter below:

"DONNA SUMMER MADE MUSIC THAT MOVED ME BOTH EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY TO GET UP AND DANCE.  YOU COULD ALWAYS HEAR THE DEEP PASSION IN HER VOICE.  SHE WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN THE QUEEN OF DISCO SHE BECAME KNOWN FOR, SHE WAS AN HONEST AND GIFTED SINGER WITH FLAWLESS VOCAL TALENT.  I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE FAN AND WAS HONORED TO SAMPLE ONE OF HER SONGS.  SHE TOUCHED MANY GENERATIONS AND WILL BE SO SADLY MISSED.  
MY LOVE GOES OUT TO HER FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

Kanye West to debut short film 'Cruel Summer'' at Cannes Film Festival

    Hip- Hop Mogul Kanye West will debut a short film titled "Cruel Summer" at the Cannes Film Festival. 
    The rapper announced Friday that he'll present the film on Wednesday at the French festival. Cruel  summer was shot few months ago in doha, qatar in association with Doha film institute .

  His  press release on the movie  promises "a fusion of short film and art installation" and an "immersive seven-screen experience." It will remain open to the public for two days following its premiere. West has previously directed music videos for his music, including the popular  2010 "Runaway."

   Nigeria's BigBrother stargane representatives  Ola and Chris are out of the running for the USD 300 000 prize!
  In their Diary Session today, Ola and Chris sat with heavy hearts, prompting Big Brother to ask them what was on their minds. 
    Ola broke the ice by declaring that after consultation with the House Doctor, he would like to Voluntarily Exit the Big Brother House. He said that he has thought about it and since the medication he is on does not seem to be taking well, would like to seek medical attention outside of the Big Brother House.   
     A sombre-looking Chris added that he understands completely. "Yes, this is a game. However, we can't play with our lives." "Health is wealth", Ola added.   The two were instructed by Biggie to leave the Diary Room and speak to their fellow Housemates, to explain the situation. 
   The two Nigerian Housemates have to leave the House with immediate effect, seeing as their Voluntary Exit has been prompted by a serious medical condition that needs urgent attention.

Filipino Christian Group Protests Lady Gaga shows-"She mocks Jesus"

   About 70 Christian youths in the Philippines have chanted "Stop the Lady Gaga concerts" at a rally calling for the superstar's shows in Manila next week to be canceled. 
     Members of a group called Biblemode Youth Philippines said Friday that they are offended by Lady Gaga's music and videos, in particular her song "Judas," which they say mocks Jesus Christ. 
    Protest leader and former Philippine Congressman Ben Abante says his group plans to file a case against Lady Gaga and concert organizers if she sings "Judas" at her Manila gigs Monday and Tuesday. 
   Former Manila Mayor Jose Atienza says the singer and organizers can be punished for offending race or religion. Lady Gaga scrapped an Indonesia concert following protests there from conservative Muslims.
