Jackie has debunked the report , he wrote on his official website on sunday Hello all my friends and fans, Yesterday in my press conference in Cannes for Chinese 12 Zodiac I said that this movie was my last big action movie. Today I was shocked when I woke up to read all the news coverage that I was retiring from doing Action movies. I just want to let everyone know that I am not retiring from doing action movies. What I meant to say is that I need to do less of the life risking stunts on my movies. After all these years of doing so many stunts and breaking so many bones, I need to take better care of my body so I can keep working. I will continue to do international action movies. British singer Adele was the biggest winner at 2012 Billboard Music Awards that took place May 20,2012 in Las Vegas ,taking home twelve trophies off the strength of her Grammy-winning album 21 and singles such as the chart-topping "Rolling in the Deep." | Iranian Director 'Asghar Farhadi' Wins First EU Media Prize at Cannes Film Festival Posted: 21 May 2012 02:35 AM PDT
Asghar Farhadi, known in Europe and throughout the world for his films "About Elly" (which won a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2009) and "A Separation" (which won a Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011 and the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2012) was awarded the EU Media prize with a $77,000 cash award for his new project which will be filmed in France next autumn. "I am proud to give this award to Mr Farhadi today for this film project which has a strong cultural identity and illustrates the openness of European culture, which I defend daily. After the worldwide success of his masterpiece "A Separation", he gives us a project which is committed and moving in equal measure and above all draws on universality" said Ms Vassiliou,EU official . Asghar Farhadi said, "In these times when certain politicians are trying to turn the beautiful rainbow of cultural diversity in the world into differences and confrontations, I believe that this Media award for my next film project is a very encouraging sign. I would therefore like to warmly thank the Media programme, and commend it for its lucid and open vision of mutual and respectful exchanges between cultures." The Media prize is awarded for the best project with box-office potential submitted by a screenwriter and a production company. | Luke ,Yadel and Dalphin Evicted from Bigbrother star game Posted: 21 May 2012 02:05 AM PDT  After a strenous week in Downville, Liberia's luke and yadel bade goodbye to StarGame while Sierra Leone lost Dalphin but still have the confident Zainab in the game. Zainab and Dalphin were the first to be asked to leave the House. There were a lot of "I love yous" and hugs exchanged proving that the girls had made a mark on their Housemates. Asked about her relationship with Seydou, Zainab said they don't really hate each other but they just didn't get along. Dalphin said she enjoyed every moment in the House but she didn't like how some people took advantage of each other. Luke and Yadel were next in line and Luke couldn't hold back his tears. On stage, Yadel was asked if she's still in a relationship and she said "I was and I hope I still am." Dalphin was the first to be Evicted followed by Yadel then Luke.  | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
