Jennifer Hudson Former Brother-In-Law Found Guilty of Family Murders

   A Chicago jury on friday convicted Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law of murdering her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in what prosecutors' described as an act of vengeance by a jilted husband.
     Hudson, who expressed her undisguised disdain for William Balfour when she took the witness stand and who endured weeks of excruciating testimony about the October 2008 killings, was visibly overcome with emotion as the verdict was read.
      Hudson's eyes filled with tears and she shook her head and bit her lip. Afterward, she looked over at her sister, Julia Hudson, and smiled. Balfour, who faces a mandatory life prison sentence, showed no emotion. 
     With no surviving witnesses to the Oct. 24, 2008, slayings or fingerprints, prosecutors built a circumstantial case against Balfour by calling 83 witnesses over 11 days of testimony. 
     Witnesses said he threatened to kill the entire family if Julia Hudson spurned him. 
   The killings occurred the morning after Julia Hudson's birthday, and prosecutors said he became enraged when he stopped by the home and saw a gift of balloons in the house from her new boyfriend. 
    After his estranged wife left for her job as a bus driver on the morning of Oct. 24, 2008, prosecutors said Balfour went back inside the home with a .45-caliber handgun and shot Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, in the back; he allegedly then shot Jason Hudson, 29, twice in the head as he lay in bed. Balfour then drove off in Jason Hudson's SUV with Julia's son, whom she called Juice Box and shot the boy several times in the head as he lay behind a front seat. His body was found in the abandoned vehicle miles away after a three-day search.

   A reality show featuring Whitney Houston's relatives, including daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy, is in the works. Houston representative Kristen Foster confirmed the Lifetime show, "The Houston Family Chronicles," on Friday.
      It will focus on Pat Houston who is taking care of whitney's only daughter bobbi kristina , sister-in-law and manager of the late singer.The show promises to feature Bobbi Kristina and Cissy, as well as Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick, gospel singer CeCe Winans and other members of the Houston family.
    Whitney houston's mom Cissy Houston, also a singer, put out her first new music in over a decade on iTunes this week. Cissy, Gary and Bobbi Kristina are expected to appear Saturday in Newark, N.J., at a gospel tribute to the late superstar as part of the annual McDonald's Gospelfest concert.

     The album entitled Higher will contain twelve tracks .Lara who recently featured on BET Spotlight disclosed she spent five months in recording the album , and it has no collaboration.Four tracks ,Higher, dansaki,Rise and More than anything have been released off the album.

    The collaboration which was sponsored by telecom giant Vodafone has been tagged Biggest Ghana-Naija collaboration.

Johnny Depp Denies Vanessa Paradis Split Rumours

Actor Johnny Depp has denied rumors that he and his partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, have split. 
   "No way ... The rumors are absolutely not true," "No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite."I can't say enough about it not being over." the actor, 48, told the U.K.'s Sun at the London premiere of Dark Shadows.
     The denial comes despite the fact Paradis was reportedly absent from the event and hasn't been seen on a red carpet with Depp for over a year.
   Multiple sources have claimed that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' 14-year relationship is over.Some even claimed that Johnny was seeking advice from Angelina Jolie over the break-up.
     Vanessa  broke her silence on the split rumours with Johnny  back in January when she angrily told reporters back in January: "It's false — this rumour could cause a lot of harm to my family and my children." The couple has two children together: daughter Lily-Rose and son John Christopher.
