| Miss Ghana 2011 cancelled ,new group takes over pageant Posted: 22 Sep 2011 10:53 PM PDT  The annual Miss Ghana pageant which is supposed to be the country's foremost beauty pageant will not come off this year as the pageant's organisation changes hands. The pageant has been cancelled because the organisation is changing hands from 'Media Whizz Kids' to 'Exclusive Events Ghana'. Media Whizz Kids, which has been organizing the pageant for over ten years, handed over the organisation some time ago to 'Sparrow Productions Limited' another event organisation outfit in 2004. It was handed back to Media Whizz Kids after several controversial issues including lawsuits. According to citifm Ghana , Exclusive Events Ghana, an events management and production company would be the third company to organize the prestigious event and this would be officially announced at a press conference on October 4. Sources confirmed the change of hands of the organisation of the event, leading to the cancellation of the event for 2011 but the source added that Media Whizz Kids would still play a vital role in the organisation of subsequent Miss Ghana pageants. Stephanie Karikari, Miss Ghana 2010 would still hold the position as Ghana's foremost beauty queen until next year's event. Stephanie will represent Ghana at the 2011 Miss World and is expected to leave the country for that pageant on October 19. This year's Miss World finale is scheduled for London on November 6.  |

Upcoming artistes and comedians that are interested to take part in the annual event are hereby invited for auditioning .The Auditions take place on 23rd ,30th september and 7th October at the new afrika shrine.Time is 4 pm The selected artistes and comedians will perform alongside top entertainers on the Felebration stage © celebregion |

| Arnold Schwarzenegger to release Memoir in 2012 Posted: 22 Sep 2011 09:43 AM PDT  Arnold and Maria Arnold schwarzenegger has a book deal in works.The bodybuilder, actor, former California governor and estranged husband of Maria Shriver has an agreement with Simon & Schuster to publish a memoir in October 2012. According to Simon & Schuster, the book's working title is "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story." Schwarzenegger is collaborating with Peter Petre, who has worked on best sellers by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. Schwarzenegger began the book last year. Financial terms were not disclosed. The publisher is billing the book as "a larger-than-life portrait of his illustrious, controversial and ever-entertaining life in and out of the public eye."  |
