Brad Pitt to stop acting at the age of 50

   Hollywood superstar ,Brad Pitt has announced that he plans to quit acting at the age of 50.
In a new interview with Australia's 60 Minutes, the 47-year-old revealed his plans. "Three years," the Ocean's Eleven star told the show in response to how long he plans to continue acting. "I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together," he explained of what he might do next. "Getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher times otherwise."

    Brad pitt and wife,Angelina Jolie  were spotted at the Con Dau Islands, Vietnam on Sunday, where they toured the notorious Con Son "tiger cages" -- a prison first built by the colonial French to imprison political prisoners that was later used to house communists during the Vietnam War.

P.Diddy,Al sharpton to pay tribute to late rapper Heavy D at NewYork Funeral

    Rap mogul Diddy and the Rev. Al sharpton will speak at late rapper Heavy D's funeral on Friday, and BET Network plans a tribute for him at the Soul Train Awards.
     Diddy said in a statement that he was "heartbroken by the passing of my dear friend."
      "He was a wonderful human being, who inspired and paved the way for a Hip Hop generation," the statement said. "We were like brothers — I will miss him more than words can express."
    A private funeral for the rap legend will be held at the historic Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, just north of New York City.
    BET also announced Monday that the Soul Train Music Awards in Atlanta will pay tribute to Heavy D, with Curtis Blow, Naughty by Nature, Big Daddy Kane, Doug E fresh, DJ Eddie F, Whodini and Daddy-O of Stetsasonic participating.
Heavy D's family has launched the Heavy D and Xea Myers Fund, named in honor of the rapper and his daughter, who's 11 years old. 

Ghanaian actress Yvonne nelson survives food poisoning

        Ghanaian star actress/model  Yvonne Nelson escaped death by a whisker on Friday night after her food was poisoned.
According to News-one,the incident took place a few hours before she embarked on a trip to Paris where she is currently celebrating her birthday with close friend and actress Yvonne Okoro.
 "At about 12:30 midnight Friday, she had to be rushed to the hospital for an injection. She was told it was food poisoning," However, she confirmed the story on her blackberry status Saturday afternoon, saying, "One birthday gift at 12:30 was an injection. God bless you all."
    Yvonnne nelson is currently in Paris celebrating her birthday with fellow actress Yvonne Okoro and others

Obafemi Martins to set up foundation for Orphans in december

      Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins has hinted that he is ready to set up his own foundation in december . He  paid a visit to orictoritak motherless babies home in Kazan Russia, on Saturday , to give out gifts to orphans and motherless babies and stated that he will have the Nigerian version done in december.The gifts was given in memory of his late brother and mother.The foundation will also be setup in memory of his late brother.

Martins last played in the Europa League for Rubin Kazan against  Tottenham, last week.

    Ace comedian, Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, has described himself as a victim of a conspiracy by faceless individuals who were envious of his exploits in his chosen profession.

   Baba Suwe gave the verdict on Sunday during a press conference addressed by his lawyers led by Mr Bamidele Aturu. Reflecting on the event at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja shortly before his arrest on October 12, 2011 by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the renowned comedian said that he was only told to enter an office to meet with the NDLEA men.
"As soon as I arrived at the airport, a woman sitting at the counter just asked me to go inside one room where the NDLEA officials were. As soon as I entered the room, they arrested me. Nobody told me my offence even when I demanded", he said.


        He was chained in the legs like a common criminal. They asked him to lie down, they wanted to beat him, but common sense prevailed.
      "The most embarrassing was when they put a glove in my hands and forced me to fiddle with my shit whether something would be found there". Omidina, who disclosed that there was no time in his life that he was caught dealing with drug as rumoured, noted that the NDLEA found nothing on him or inside his bowel, which warranted his release by the court. Baba Suwe, who showed journalists the injury he sustained from the leg-chain that was put on him in custody, thanked all his fans and admirers, especially those who believed in him that he would never do such a thing in his life.

     Aturu said that the NDLEA failed in its duty to prove that his client, Babatunde Omidina, also known as Baba Suwe, was guilty of any offence."We are going to ask questions about the capability of the NDLEA leadership if I have my way," he said. "If I am the President of Nigeria, I will remove the NDLEA boss because it is a national embarrassment. He (Ajayi) needs nobody to tell him to go before he leaves. If it is in other climes, the person will resign."

Kim Kardashian sues publicist who called wedding a sham

      Kim Kardashian has hired lawyer Marty Singer to muzzle a man identifying himself as her former publicist while asserting her 72-day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries was a sham.
       According to TMZ, Kardashian is seeking $200,000 in legal damages from Jonathan Jaxson.On Friday, Jaxson told "Good Day L.A." that he worked for the E! reality star from 2007 - 2009 and that the marriage was staged.Kardashian claims that Jaxson only worked for her on one project -- a blog -- and that he is in violation of a signed confidentiality document.

   On Friday, Jaxson told "Good Day L.A.," "The whole show itself was staged to a T."

Nigerian footballer Bobsam Elejiko dies during club match in Belgium

         Nigerian football player Bobsam Elejiko has died during his club match in Belgium .Fifth-tier Belgian club Merksem S.C.  says Bobsam Elejiko collapsed during the Provincial 1 game against F.C. Kaart on Sunday and attempts to resuscitate the Nigerian-born Belgian were unsuccessful.
          The cause of death was not immediately clear.Merksem says in a statement on its website that "we express our condolences to the Elejiko family during this difficult time."The 30-year-old Elejiko had previously played for Westerlo and Antwerp among other teams.The match was abandoned after Elejiko's death.
