       After a successful year on the charts, Chris Brown has decided to make some more noise, this time on the real estate market. 
     Brown has snatched up a mansion in the Hollywood Hills for  $1.5 million.Brown's new home is eight miles from Rihanna's front door but she recently put her eight-bedroom Beverly Crest home on the market 

     Brown had been on the search for a new location since the spring, when residents in his West Hollywood community complained about his loud lifestyle.

Ini Edo tops AFRIFF-Arik airline best female actress poll, denies rigging votes

    Nollywood actresses , actors and directors battled for Fly Arik Air prizes through Africa international film festival (AFRIFF)as reported few days ago . Ini edo tops the poll with 6,697 votes  . There have been allegations on social media (facebook, twitter ) that Ini edo rigged the vote .Nollywood star actress ,Rita dominic was one of the contenders that reacted on the poll .

 I did not rig de votes or use any software to raise my votes,I came on tweeter  and my fb page and asked my fans to vote 4 me.I heard some even went on air and announced.this allegation is a calculated attempt to smear my name for whtever reasons.to all my fans who voted,thank you.I appreciate all ur support and love,Godbless.happy thanksgiving day.
The AFRIFF team has issued a statetement on that ;
 The AFRIFF team has determined beyond a reasonable doubt that the best actress peoples choice poll has been compromised.We have identified more than 4000 masked ip addresses compromising what was meant as a free and fun process. The Voting process for all three polls have been disabled and deliberations on how to proceed are ongoing at the moment.We apologise to the our genuine voters and all our stars involved with the poll.We regret any inconveniences caused.
    Nollywood actor Desmond elliot has the highest votes (1449) for Best Male actor category while Director Mahmud Ali Balogun emerges Best film producer /director with 1,493 votes
    The  Poll is an online competition as part of Africa international film festival that will hold between the 29th of November, 2011  and  5th of December, 2011 in Lagos
 in conjunction with Arik Air called the FLY ARIK PRIZE FOR AFRICAN MOVIE STARS.

Court orders NDLEA to pay Baba Suwe N25M compensation

   Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court,  Thursday, has ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA,  to pay Nigerian comedy actor, Babatunde Omidina, Popularly known as Baba Suwe, N25 million  as compensation for unlawful detention and breach of right.
    Baba Suwe who was granted bail November 4, had gone to court to seek redress over an alleged suspicion of ingesting substances believed to be hard drug and detention in the custody of NDLEA for 24 days.
   Justice Yetunde Idowu also asked the NDLEA to apologize publicly  through two national dailies within 21 days for unlawful detention and breach of right  comedian

      The wedding  reception will hold at the regency hall ,Ikeja on saturday. The event will be anchored by Alariwo of Africa and comedian omo baba will be the Bestman.

G.I. Joe 2' Crew Member Mike huber dies On Set

      The set of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" was the latest to be struck by tragedy, when a crew member died following an accident during the New Orleans production.
     Crew member Mike Huber was tearing down the set Tuesday when the scissor lift he was working on tipped, leading to fatal injuries.
   Paramount issued the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter: "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Huber family at this time."
Paramount said the safety of its cast and crew is a top priority and it is "fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident."
   This marks the second recent on-set accident leading to the death of a crew member. In late October, one stuntman was killed and another was seriously injured on the Bulgarian set of the sequel to "The Expendables
     Paramount will release G.I. Joe 2 on June 29; it follows G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, a hit in 2009.
