Singer Soul E has debunked the rumours flying around that he recently got married to a certain Abuja based banker . Soul E just informed
i have been getting calls all day that i just got married for GOD sake when am ready for marriage i will let the world know by putting my pics on my fan page and twitter page and Facebook page.....i never granted anyone any interview telling them am married so why all this new this is crazy.
   He said he was upset when he read all the stories . We posted the story of his engagement with a lady called petula delinda  few months ago (READ HERE)

      The 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards, brought to you in association with Hyundai and presented by South Africa's Dineo Moeketsi and Nigeria's Banky W, will be broadcast LIVE on Friday, 11 November at 21:00.
     It will be preceded by a one-hour V-Entertainment Channel O Music Video Awards Red Carpet special hosted by Siyabonga "Scoop" Ngwekazi and Lalla "Miss LA" Hirayama.The fun-filled, super glamorous Vuzu special will showcase the fashion, the stars, the celebrities and the build-up to the LIVE event as well as several inserts that look back at the best moments in Africa's longest-running continent-wide awards event.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. To Pay For The Funeral Of Boxing Great Joe Frazier

   Floyd Mayweather Jr. has announced that he will pay for the funeral costs of Boxing legend smokin Joe frazier that passed away on monday,Nov.7 
Mayweather released a statement via Twitter


   This is the second time this year floyd Mayweather who is currently the WBC World Welterweight champion has assisted in covering the cost of boxer's funeral.
 He paid for the funeral of former opponent Genaro Hernandez, who died from cancer at age 45 earlier this year as well.

Morgan Freeman to receive lifetime achievement at the Golden Globe Awards

   Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is to receive the Cecil B DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes next year.
     The award is bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for outstanding contribution to the world of entertainment.Freeman will receive the prize at a Los Angeles ceremony on 15 January,2012.
    The 74-year-old Freeman is a five-time Oscar nominee who won the supporting-actor prize for 2004's "Million dollar baby.  Previous recipients have included Walt Disney, Joan Crawford, Warren Beatty, Anthony Hopkins, Steven Spielberg and Robert De Niro.

Taylor Swift named country music entertainer of the year

   Taylor Swift won the top honor at the Country Music Association awards show last night in Nashville.Tennessee taking the trophy for entertainer of the year for the second time.

     The 21-year-old country pop crossover artist, whose "Speak Now" album is one of the year's best-sellers, beat veterans Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and the favorite, Jason Aldean, in her only win of the night. She first won the top prize in 2009.

Nollywood actor Daniel Iyamu allegedly killed in sleep by wife

     A Benin-based Nollywood actor, Mr. Daniel Iyamu, has been allegedly killed in his sleep by his wife in Ugbihoko quarters, Egor North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
       Source gathered  that the remains of the late Iyamu were found on his bed by his neighbours, who forced his door open following cries from his children that their father was yet to get out of bed at  10am.
It was also gathered that the late artiste was said to have sustained injuries on his head, which suggested that he might have been hit on the head while asleep.The late actor's daughter, Faith, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, told journalists that their mother has been suffering from suspected mental illness which their father had been treating since last year.
      The timely arrival of police at the late actor's home was said to have saved the suspect, simply identified as Grace, from being lynched by an angry mob which besieged the scene.When contacted, acting spokesman for Edo State Police Command, Mr. Ahwara Ejiroro, confirmed the incident but promised to provide further details later
