9ice postpone album release

9ice has postponed the release of his double album ,Bashorun gaa and versus that was scheduled to be released on 10th Oct,2010.The new release date is now 7th Dec,2010. Check his statement below

Are all stylish guys gay?

There is a perception that is usually associated with  a guy that is very stylish or who's very "artistic" with his dressing; that he is gay! And I guess it's because of the way movies, music and T.V in general sometimes portray gay guys.
They always seem to make them look really good and dress them up in colourful outfits(marc in Ugly Betty for one!)And people are generally of the view that if a guy pays too much attention to his dressing OR is too conscious of it OR he likes to combine a lot of colours and wears fitted clothes, THEN he's definitely gay!(who says all gay guys are stylish newayz??)


     I am of a totally different opinion when it comes to guys and their dressing. I think it's very good and I love it when guys pay attention to their dressing, have a style of their own and even know how to blend colours in their outfits.it,s amazing when a guy blends colours and comes out with a perfect outfit(it's kind of like a talent..lol)Being gay goes beyond dressing(I think…)And I feel it's really inappropriate to criticize or judge stylish guys based on their dressing or just coz they love fashion and style. Ralph Laurent is very stylish for a guy and that doesn't mean he's gay. I am a big fan of Kanye West and pharrel williams not just coz of their music but because they love fashion and they definitely have style !(although some naïve people call them gay..*hisss* )

     So, is there anything wrong with a guy who loooves fashion and is very stylish? NOoooo! And I feel people who think otherwise are just being naive. Nobody said dressing up,having style  or being into fashion was meant for girls alone (just like sports aren't for boys alone!).Yeah,it`s possible that a guy might love to dress up stylishly because he is gay but it's also possible for a guy who dresses like a "regular kid on the block" or without style to be gay!! I think it's even kind of an extra plus for guys to ladies if he's stylish. I mean there's nothing wrong with a male Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker …e.t.c It just goes to show he's appreciative of and has a good taste in clothes, shoes, ties…and fashion in general! Being stylish as a guy is the same as being stylish as a girl, it just means the person wants to look good. Some girls and has style.

     When I told someone I was writing on this topic, he said "have I noticed that these so-called stylish guys are always hanging around girls and have a lot of female friends?"Yeah…so???It's not like guys who aren't stylish don't have female friends too (duh!!!!*blank face stare*)It's not coz they are gay as y`all might like to think; have you ever stopped to think for a second that it might be because, due to their taste in and love for fashion, girls can relate to them and so that's why girls will want to be friends with them! The fact that a guy loves to dress up and is very "particular" about his dressing doesn't mean he's gay, it just goes to show he has a sense of style and most times such a guy dresses up to show his personality,which is what style is really about in the first place.
     From me to you: Y`all need to stop being naïve and shallow. stop judging guys coz of how they dress, if you really want to know what they are about then look beyond their dressing and you might just be surprised that it's the guys that dress up like "regular kids on the block" or "MACHO" guys that are more in touch with their feminine side…lol…(you didn't hear it from me o!...LMAO!)
