The list of nominees for the 2010 MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain  have  been released .The lists were relesaed last night at De marquee in lagos.

Miss USA ,Alexandria mills is the winner of 2010 Miss world contest

In the Southern China Province of Hainan on Saturday night (China Time), Miss World 2010 was crowned. The winner ended up being Miss US, Alexandria Mills. Mills is an 18-year-old who just recently graduated from High School.
The final 5 participants in the final round of the Miss World 2010 event were from the US, China, Botswana, Ireland, and Venezuela. Miss Botswanna, Emma Wareus finished in 2nd place, with Miss Venezuela, Adriana Vasini finishing 3rd.
The Miss World pageant is the oldest international beauty pageant. It originated in 1951 by its creator Eric Morley. Last year's winner was Kaiane Aldorino from Gibraltar. The last winner from the United States came back in 1990, and before that 1973.

Akon ready to give out free album in November

Akon will release his brand new album Stadium on November 23rd which he describes as more dance / feel good music and less Hip Hop / R&B with only 2 rap features: Ludacris and Rick Ross.
However, he has decided to release a free album strictly "for the streets" to please his Urban audience in conjunction with the retail release of Stadium. The collection which is going be be titled either Koncrete or Fusion will be made available on his website
