Having Self Defense For Parking Lot Problems Is Very Important

By Michael Gravette

I should have listened to my mother. That was too late now after I was almost hurt in the mall parking lot. It was a good thing my friends brought their tools for self defense in parking lot situations.

For my nineteenth birthday, my mother gave me a cell phone stun gun and a lipstick pepper spray. But I was too ecstatic over my Dad's gift, a silver four-door car that I have been eyeing, to think of her gifts.

Since then, my Mom always reminded me to bring along the self defense gadgets because of rampant mugging incidents in parking lots. Self defense in parking lot situations are a must, especially for girls, she said.

But her reminders fell on deaf ears many times. When my pals Cindy and Karen invited me to view our favorite movie in the town mall, I volunteered to use my car. We were still talking about the movie when we were walking towards my car at past 10 in the evening.

We were all seated inside when two guys knocked on the window on Karen and Cindy?s side. Cindy was about to roll down the window when I shouted, "No!" I was in a panic and could not find my car keys. I prayed that I should have brought the devices that Mom gave for self defense in parking lot situations like this.

I was shaking while fumbling for the car keys that I could not find when a loud grunt and a thud were what I heard. What I thought was an ordinary mobile phone that Cindy had brought was a cell phone stun gun with 4.5 million volts.

The man who rapped at Karen's window had a dose of the lipstick pepper spray that she generously sprayed on him. For self defense in parking lot incidents like this was something that Karen was prepared.

With Karen's PAL-139L Keychain Alarm with Light, I was able to find my car keys and speed off before the bad guys would wake up.
